Had a wonderful opportunity to work with Priya and her amazing team on my Mother's Birthday party.
My husband, mother and I came a month prior to the event to try the food and check out the decor. The minute we stepped inside, I knew that decor-wise Raasa was going to be perfect. We stayed for dinner... which was absolutely amazing! Flavors were perfect and the presentation was beautiful.
We decided then and there we would go no where else.
Priya, via phone calls and emails (I live far from the restaurant) planned the party for my mother in detail. I literally had no worries! She took care of everything and when I brought up concerns during the day, I found it had already been taken care of.
Her chef has attention to detail I really appreciate..every dish that was served was thought out in detail. Even a simple potato pakora had special seasoning on it that turned it from a fried potato to something amazing. Highly recommend the chicken lazeez and tandoori platter. Tandoori cauliflower and salmon are my new favorites. I didn't order this for the party but for when we had a private dinner: Chili Shrimp...wow... Lamb Rogan...meat was extremely tender and flavorful. I am not Vegetarian but the foods I ordered for my guests would have made me content to never eat meat again.
Everyone at the party had an amazing time with plenty of food and drink. The servers for the event were always smiling and took care of each person individually. I had about 30 guests for a party and feel like I didn't even lift a finger!
My post does not nearly describe how wonderful I feel Raasa is as a restaurant and for their wonderful team. I highly recommend you experience Raasa yourself.
Thank you Priya and your team , for making my Mother's birthday celebration a memorable one. My family are are already planning to come back for dinner!!
My wife and I ate there this past Saturday nite and we loved the food, decor and wonderful and attentive service!!! We've eaten at most of the Indian restaurants in Westchester and we can now say that Raasa is our new fave!! Good luck To Ash and his awesome staff !!
First time having Indian cuisine. Such a great experience. Staff was helpful and explained each dish. Definitely going back real soon
Ate there last night for the first time. I've been to many Indian restaurants in the area but this place is number one! The food was exceptional, the decor modern and the staff courteous and attentive. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the chicken was so moist and juicy I didn't even need a knife. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
This is the best Indian Restaurant to hit Westchester in a long tome! I rarely give 5 stars because there is always something that isn't quite right. Everything was great...The food, expertly prepared with creative combinations of taste and texture. The space is beautifully renovated with comfortable seating. The hosts Pria and Ash were welcoming, cordial and attentive as well as the wait staff. Oh, there is one thing, a round table for a large group is always better for conversation and sharing!
I could throw a rock & hit this place & never thought to eat here.well tonite i did & it was excellent. Service ,food .great restaurant right in good old Elmsford. I highly recommend you try!
I’m not a big fan of Indian food, but this was good. Really good. I would go back. My wife, who loves Indian food, enjoyed it as well.
Tried many Westchester Indian restaurants keep coming back to Raasa the quality of their food is always first class. They always adjust the spice levels correctly to your taste when requested. Portions are sufficient to make two meals out of most takeaways.
My family and I really enjoyed the food and the service. Ashok, Priya and the rest of the staff were very nice, and the food tasted great. Also, the ambiance was beautiful.

Delicious Indian food... we have visited this place "n' number of times and they have exceeded the expectations everytime...
Everything we tried was amazing. Appetizers to Deserts
Best sea bass I have ever had at any restaurant ever.
Great India food very good service, the samosa chat is amazing
One of our favorite places to eat. Great food every time. Thx!
Great food and atmosphere. Owners and service superb. Delicious Tandoori Chicken and Burra Lamb Chops. Wonderful selection of appetizers.
good, decent Indian restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Being a South Indian, I felt the chetinaadu chicken was not authentic. But overall, it's a very good restaurant and a little pricey for the quantity they serve.
This was one of the best foods I have eaten in my life! Everything was perfect! The spices, the textures, the ambiance, the service, everything!
I like Indian cuisine, but it was not my favorite type of food, but Raasa now is!
I will return many times for sure!
And the prices are great too!
❤️
This is a wonderful restaurant with terrific service, and the food is superb! The price is affordable. I am vegetarian, and I love their spinach and chickpea dish! This is one of my go to restaurants. Highly recommend!
Good food.
But the service was extremely slow 🐌
Tasty food and staff good. Especially Chaitanya who helped us to find the real taste. Thank you Raasa for good dinner.
Good news RaaSa's buffet is back. This has been my go to Indian Restaurant in Westchester since it opened; especially the buffet. Along comes covid to put a wrench in my garam masala. No more buffet. Well the buffet is back Fri-Sat-Sun and just as good as ever. Good sign is the fact that most of the dinners seem to be of Indian descent and the restaurant is populated by happy families. Just like it was before the pandemic. The regular menu is also excellent. I'm not going to tell you the price of the 'all inclusive ' buffet. If I did you wouldn't believe me. Go find out for yourself and you'll wind up, just like me, going back anytime you're in a hurry for a 'curry".
My first time dining at this restaurant. It’s a pleasant spot with well laid out tables, and the manager is certainly on his game. I asked him for his recommendation as I wanted to try the hottest curry they make here. I started with the chili shrimp dish which was tasty followed by the chicken vindaloo. The food, portions, presentation, and service is excellent.
Must admit though it’s rather odd to be sitting in a restaurant again with other diners spotted around.
If you are going to truly enjoy Indian, you have to eat it as soon as it comes out of the kitchen. I would certainly recommend this spot in Elmsford, and will definitely come back here.
Update: I have eaten here many times since posting the first review. RaaSa is my go to spot and the chicken vindaloo really is the very best in Westchester. Totally recommend this restaurant!
Amazing food! Have been to a few Indian places in Westchester and this is the best hands down. You can smell how good it is before you even walk in. My gf and I ate their all you can eat lunch special and were given fresh naan even though we came in when they were ready to close. Staff was nice and on top of filling my water lol.
Apparently they change the dishes every day for the special (Fri-Sun), so best believe we’ll back for another day!
This was the second time I have visited this restaurant. The service and the food both are good. The food tastes great as well. The spice level is also great.
i would give this place every star in the universe if i could. i just ordered the chicken lunch box and these people have blown me away. they add an extra layer of curry and chickpea to the bottom of the rice alongside your chicken tikka so when you scoop up some rice you always get some tasty, warm curry at the end of it. i have never seen an indian restaurant do this. i love these people. on top of that the food is amazing and affordable! i will never go to any other indian restaurant besides RaaSa from now on. this place is very underrated.
Great Indian food. Rank their Chicken Tikka and Naan amongst the best. Food has flavor, and while I've only experienced the food through GrubHub, their location looks bright and elegant from pictures. Wish their Naan was on the fluffier/softer side, but other than that, looking forward to having their cuisine again, soon.
The food was great, although it was not as spicy or as tasteful as i expected. I guess that is to accomodate the american palate which may not be used to such foods. Prices were rather high, especially considering that the restaurant is not in NYC. Overall had a good experience.
It was definitely a pleasure having dinner in this great establishment. The host was very warm and inviting. I was very happy to find that they had private parking. We we're seated right away and our server Ash was very helpful with the Specials and explaining the choices being offered. We ordered 2 appetizers that were delicious. The Andhra Chili Chicken and Keema Samosa. Entrees we chose the Chicken Tikka Masala and Goat Biryani, all the dishes were very good. Dessert we had the Chocolate Souffle and Kulfi Falooda. I was simply amazed with all the unique flavors each dish possessed. I will definitely be coming back to try some of the options that I simply couldn't have this time around. I was very pleased. Great Job!
