I had baked stuffed shrimp, and it was delicious. My husband got the lasagna, and he was not impressed. The beef was like tasteless mush. The French onion soup was also tasteless. My Malibu martini was great. Duncan was a great server, and very attentive.
We weren't planning on eating here, but decided to stop. We are glad we did! Our waiter, Billy, was great. He went over and above to make sure I got what I wanted. I was craving a meatball sub which wasn't on their menu, but he went ahead and got me Meatballs and fresh bread, so I could have my sub. The food was amazing. The parmesan crusted chicken was delicious as well as the vodka penne my wife had. Definitely recommend!
Excellent food. Well worth the price. My husband ordered the prime rib and it was made to perfection. I had the manicotti and it was delicious. Filling was light and tasty and the noodles were perfect, not rubbery as in some resturants.
Old school Italian restaurant. The food was amazing. I had the parmesan chicken and my husband had the chicken marsala both were delicious. We finished off our meal with a shared tiramisu, best I have ever had and I have been to Italy. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good quality meal.
A bit dated as far as atmosphere, but you cannot find a better selection of veal dishes anywhere in Charlotte County! Delicious marsala, piccata but the best is the veal al la stanze with spinach, mozzarella and prosciutto. So good! Great service and drinks with a superior menu. You will enjoy!
La Stanza is our goto restaurant for Italian food, and usually the first place that we take visitors to when they come to town. The food and service are great, and the atmosphere friendly and down to earth. They make some great drinks too!
Friends brought us there for dinner because we were moving.
There was about fourteen of us and they did a great job.
The service was impeccable.
Chicken Fantasia was unique and very good. Penne Alla Vodka good. Helpful and friendly staff. Will return.

We were a party of four first timers at La Stanza. We were immediately pleased with the white tablecloths. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the drink and food menus. The food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced. The portions were excellent. We can't wait to return.
Staff was very attentive and food arrived with proper timing between courses. Our table was appropriately cleared of empty dishes. Kale was a great waiter. Also, I appreciated having cloth napkins and tablecloth for a change! My husband and I both had veal cutlet parmesan which came with salad and bread. The cutlet was a nice portion and very tasty, but the linguine portion was a little skimpy. If you prefer a simple marinara sauce, you will be pleased. However, my husband would have liked a spicier sauce. We shared an order of tarimisu to end our meal. It was to die for! All being said, we had a pleasant evening and will definitely return.

First time trying this local gem. Food was by far the best Italian I've had in years. Prices are great, and the service was friendly. I enjoyed the parmesan encrusted chicken, with their potato and fresh vegetables.

Another treasure of Englewood. Excellent service, excellent food. Our Server Mickey was very professional and attentive. The venue was a perfect blend of class and comfort, and prices very reasonable. I had the Chicken Parm with spaghetti, but I tried my wife's Fettuccine. The Alfredo sauce was the best I had ever had. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert, and although I found it different from other recipes, the flavor was tantalizing. Absolutely La Stanza is a Must-visit if you are in Englewood. Splendito!!!
