This place been a go-to for homestyle cooking since I moved here back in '97. But, for reasons unknown, I've never tried the fried chicken...until today. "Dinner out with friends" we like to try restaurants we haven't been to before so decided to give the Colonial Cottage a try, for a Saturday night there was no wait to be seated our server was friendly and cheerful a little slow giving service but we wasn't in a hurry so didn't mind the waiting, the

My husband and I eat breakfast here frequently. So much so, that we have a favorite server, Michele. Service is great! They accommodate my keto diet - I sub toast with tomatoes & potatoes for cottage cheese.
Great food, great service. The hotcakes I ordered were delicious! Definitely recommend!
Nashville hot chicken was delish. Pies to die for. Nice homey atmosphere. 85 years and still serving.
An older restaurant that has been around for 85 + years that serves a variety of home cook meals they have daily specials although the parking lot is small there is plenty of room inside we had great service and great food definitely will go back again enjoy
