Great place!! Hubby and I went for lunch today for a new experience and we loved it! Highly recommend the Cheese Fritta as an appetizer. Also, our Margarita pizza even won over my meat lovers man. Great service by Sarah S. And we met the kind owner Joe. We'll be back
Upon our arrival Andy told us we would have a half hour wait for a table & he was perfect for timing! Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed forgetting little things like bread & our salads and had to be asked but it was all pretty quickly. My husband had the Italian baked chicken & couldn't say enough about how wonderful it was! My linguine was amazing as usual & because of our long wait for our food we were given free dessert. Great staff, food & atmosphere!
Great food and people. My husband and I go here quite often. If they make a mistake on something they fix it quickly. We just had a small party in the back room a few weeks ago and it was lovely and everyone loved the food! They made a keepsake menu for us and we have very good service also. Love their steak and spaghetti!
Service was great, food amazing as always, and priced really nice. You want a great Italian meal in Escanaba...this is the place!
Best chicken Alfredo pizza and cannolis the Alfredo sauce was amazing and we had great service. The restaurant itself is a super cute intimate italian place overall so glad i stopped.
My husband and I enjoyed lunch today and it was our first visit to Crispigna's. The wait staff was courteous and helpful. She took our order very promptly. We enjoyed the "Pasta to Order" which is served during their lunch. We selected fettuccini, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, red peppers, artichokes, Italian sausage with a cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious! Very generous portions. Overall a very enjoyable meal. Can hardly wait to go back.
My wife and I have been dining there since 1974 and will continue to do so. We were so happy when it reopened after being closed for a bit. Have never had a bad experience.
Never had a bad meal at this place. The pasta sauces are the best.
Great place to eat- excellent Italian food. Our party enjoyed all of our entries. I had the salmon fettuccine, which was awesome. The fish was grilled perfectly so it was tender and moist; noodles and sauce were rich and tasty. The bread and seasoned butter to start was fabulous. Artichoke dip was an wonderful starter.
Service was really nice. She refilled drinks promptly and ensured we had all we needed. Mad props to her. Also food was really really good. I had shrimp alfredo and shrimp was super moist and juicy. Alfredo was thick and creamy, noodles just right. Will definitely be back.
Passing through town, son wanted Italian, so we stopped. Portions were huge, taste was excellent.
We ordered artichoke dip and chips at dinner time because we weren't hungry enough for a big meal. WOW! It was truly delicious. Our waitress that night was very friendly and helpful. And our booth seemed so private. Loved it! Hopefully we'll be through there again soon. I'll make sure I'm hungry next time!
A little on the pricy side but you won't be let down. Clean restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere. If your looking for a nice sit down with the family this is the place. Everything from their steaks to shrimp is gorgeous, not just looks but taste as well, made to order rather you want rare or well done they nail it every time.
Ate here on our way to our motel. It was a bit pricey for us, but completely worth it. Had the ravioli and pizza. My son had the calzone. Everything was great! Even the bread and butter and sauce. Especially the cheese/ranch? sauce. If I were to come here again I would try the pasta!
Best Alfredo sauce I have ever had! I understand why they have a little fridge at the front counter with their sauces to buy and take home.
Creme brulee martinis are amazing.
Staff was all really friendly and prompt.
I highly recommend this to all who have not yet been.
In a town notorious for lackluster dinning, this place in an absolute gem! Took my wife & kids, the food and service was excellent. Its a small family run business that was opend in the 70s and is still owned by the same family.Papa Joe loves kids and is extremely kind. Prices are very reasonable, food is authentic and the noodles are El Dante.
My favorite restaurant! My first time eating there was my 16th birthday, and other than the year or so they were closed, I have made the 100 mile trip from my home to eat there on my birthday, and any other chances I get, I am 47! Twenty plus years of happiness! If you love great food in a casual but classy atmosphere you will love this place!
Great pizza. Good cold beer. Nice casual atmosphere. Easy to get to. Clean premises. Great service. They have thin or regular crust pizza. There is a nice variety of toppings. I will be back.
I had manacotti with sausage & meat sauce and my wife had rotini with meat ball an meat sauce. Both were served with warm bread and garlic & herb butter. Wonderful meal. Great atmosphere, old Italian decor. Great service. We will be back.
First time eating here. Food was very good. Steak was perfectly cooked. Our server was outstanding! Definitely going for a return visit.
A nice, quaint Italian restaurant in the heart of Escanaba's downtown. A wide variety of menu offerings along with a drink menu. I chose the lasagna which was well prepared. The dressing on the house salad lacked a little bit in flavor. But the bread was delicious. I would visit again.
Great prices for great food! Good beer selection and cocktails. They offer some good specials during the week. Friendly staff and waitresses. Some great dishes to try are the filleto gorgonzola, ribs, Mac and cheese (very filling and cheesy), spinach hot bacon salad, the pizza's are delicious also (Carbenra).
