I was in town for a couple of nights and this was the last place in Eugene I had a meal. It was the best possible way to end my trip. I started with the octopus appetizer and a cocktail that was dangerously good. The octopus was great, but that damn broth. The fantastic bartender was smart to bring me a spoon! I had the crispy duck confit special entree and that was also off the charts. Perfectly cooked duck, ungodly delicious sauce, great potatoes. It was just fantastic. And then that damn bread pudding with house made vanilla ice cream. My wonderful bartender sold me on it by talking up that damned ice cream. She was not kidding about how good it was!!! I almost wanted to buy a pint and freeze pack it for my trip back to Rhode Island. Seriously awesome place! I will definitely make a point to go back if I end up back in Eugene.

We are extremely lucky to have this establishment in downtown Eugene. Tom, the owner, is an awesome guy and his staff is second to none. The food is absolutely amazing as is the restaurant's atmosphere . If you're looking for the perfect place to take a date or just a night out with friends, The Davis will not disappoint you. Oh, and the Friday and Saturday Night dance parties are the best in town. This place is all around amazing

My new fave place! Hubby and I went with friends. Great margaritas! Priced well and wasn't even Happy Hour. Hubby had ribs and loved them. I had the salmon. Whole plate to die for! Cannot wait to go back!

It was so nice!!! we had a large group and even on a busy Saturday night, even while they had a wine pairing in the private room the staff was prompt and attentive, the food was outstanding and the cocktails were delish. I just can't say enough good things about this resturant. The chef is amazing!!! What a wonderful menu

Delicious dinner! I have always loved the food here, for 5 years, and we eat at Davis every time we come into town. Perfectly prepared King Salmon dinner with cherry garnish, crunchy Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes. My husband loved his fettuccine and lamb meatballs. Your salads are always amazing. Excellent martini’s, warm bread & service. (Our only complaint was the blinding “interrogation lights” that are low over some of the tables. So we chose the booth that did not have them for a more romantic date. The waitress brought us a lovely candle. Not happy with the music and the speaker right overhead thumping rather loud rap music when we first sat down to relax. For a minute, It made us have second thoughts about staying to dine. We asked our very nice waiter to turn it down but I don’t think he was allowed to. Perhaps some Pandora jazz or something more ambient for the grown ups who come earlier to relax and eat your amazing food ?)

Impressive lunch menu, creative, original, and up to date. I had the seared Ahi sandwich, delicious, and my friend had the wonderful, decadent mac and cheese. Pleasant service and upscale place with reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food and staff! Especially appreciate their accommodations for my guests who have different dietary needs. Right now I'm super loving the potato taquitos and the sweet and spicy ribs but everything is delish!

We asked a random stranger on the street where they would recommend and this was their response. We got there just as they were opening their doors but David was very gracious and welcoming. We always order randomly and share dishes and they were very cool with that. This is what we ordered...the roasted beet salad. Yum! Foraged Mushrooms & Chicken Dumplings. (Best dish of our evening!) and Goat Cheese Agnolotti (Handmade Pasta filled with Goat Cheese & Fresh Herbs tossed with Foraged Mushrooms, Roasted Squash & Seasonal Greens in Almond Sage Brown Butter) For dessert we shared the bread pudding. A little dry for my taste. At my request David concocted a lovely drink to fit my requests. It was a completely enjoyable experience. Looking forward to visiting again.

Wonderful meal. Thai pork belly and prawn. Pork so tender fell off my fork. Pineapple salad awesome. Great sevice.

We had an awesome experience for lunch yesterday. Sat at the bar and had a beer with a pretzel, hummus and split a sandwich. All amazing thank you!

The scallop dinner was delicious! In fact everyone of us in a group of 9 were happy with our meals. I came here with friends to celebrate 2 of their milestone birthdays. We all had a wonderful time. Food, drinks, & company! Thanks Tom & staff!!!!

The Davis is an all around sure thing. Food- AMAZING! Drinks - AMAZING! Staff friendly and professional. The dancing on the weekends is a fun time!! I recommend them to everyone I know.

I have to echo the sentiments of other reviewers and agree that The Davis is underrated and overlooked. We are so happy we tried it. We will be going back soon and often. I could talk about our amazing drinks and desserts but I prefer to discuss the grilled romaine Cesar. It was smoky but chilled with a crunch. It was perfect.
