Nyx Restaurant & Bar

I visited the bar downstairs and listened to some great live music. I visited twice. The first time I was full and did not order any food, but the food I saw looked and smelled good. The liquid refreshments in the bar area were tasty, and the service was excellent. The next time I visited the bar, food was not being served downstairs while I was there, and the upstairs restaurant was way too busy with hungry customers.

90 minute wait for food, even with reservations. Three ppl in our party- we had to ask twice for drinks, I received my tea, my friends asked for a beer and water. They finished the beers, were never offered to refill and NEVER got water. They were out of most menu items. Steak was to come with salad, in season vegetables, and potatoes. It came with a cheap small side salad, french fries, and no veggies. Once we finally received our steaks, there werent any steak knives, which you have to cut up in order to finish cooking on the lava stones... ended up with burnt steaks because we couldn't cut it in time to "roll" it around to finishing cooking before we got up, walked to the bar and asked for knives. Such a terrible experience. I would have asked to speak to the manager but the manager was the one training our waitress and ended up bringing out all of our order 🙄

The wait staff was good but it took forever to get our food. It took over an hour to get food and I got mine 15 minutes after the others in my party got theirs. If this restaurant had been really busy I would've understood. The back of the house needs some work. Once we all finally got our food It was pretty good.

We came into town August of last year and was blown away with this place. Came back this weekend and it will always be our go to place downtown. Great food, drinks, service & live music. Honestly one of the best steaks Ive had and the service is top notch. Not to mention the price is beyond reasonable. Highly recommend for a great meal & entertainment.

I brought my mom to Eureka Springs for Mother’s Day. We spent most of our time here! Everyone was so friendly and made us feel at home. The food is great and the drinks are better. We even waited out a storm here that took out the power for a couple of hours and had a blast still! We’re planning another trip here already just to come back!

A group of us went, had reservations on a Saturday afternoon at 6:30. They were out of everything. There were only 2 meat choices left and the tuna. They were out of hot hot-rocks to cook these 3 choices on. All employees were new, the manager told us she had to “clean house” 3 days ago and asked everyone to be patient. Unfortunately meat wasn’t cooked properly, the veggies were absolutely plain and the tuna was so raw, it was inedible. The servers were great, doing their best for day 3 I suppose. Strange to be out of everything on a Saturday afternoon.. prices are way to high for the amount of food and the quality. The $10 hummus platter is 2 tablespoons of hummus and one pita cut into pieces, served to you on a large metal tray with a fast food burger paper on it. As were the steaks… very disappointing. Will not be back.

We came to Eureka for a weekend get away. First time here and the service was AMAZING and the food HOLY MOLY SOOOO GOOD. The waiter was so helpful and cool to conversate with! He made us "white tea" shots with is own receipe and those were AMAZING too. We dont have anything like this down in southern AR. Will return to Eureka just for this resturant, food, and staff!
