My husband and I often come here for our anniversary each year. There is always parking and the atmosphere can be lively. The servers tend to be friendly and prompt so you’re not left waiting long. The food is always what we expect and we have never had any issues. I don’t eat red meat too often so the dry aged meat options that rotate are always worth a splurge.

Very dog friendly restaurant. Very good food. I love the mac and cheese and everything else I ate. The wife loved her tri- tip. Very good, friendly service. The restaurant is very beautiful inside. Lots of things to look at.

This is a fairly nice restaurant. The food is middle of the road. Not the best BBQ I've ever had but not the worst either. I ordered the brisket plate. I was given the lean part of the brisket. It had good flavor but was a little dry. I was given a good size portion of meat for the price though.

The tri tip tacos were great with a lot of flavor, and my corn on the Cobb was delicious. My husband ordered the half chicken, and it was the best tasting chicken he's ever had. It was very juicy and smoked to perfection.

I've been to Shamus T Bones several times now, and I've really enjoyed each meal. They have an extensive cocktail menu and full bar. They have a cocktail with lavender syrup that I love, but I substitute the gin for vodka. The pesto Parmesan oysters are very good, just mind the extremely hot plate. The chicken pesto pasta has been the dish that has grabbed me so far, I've had it a couple times now. The pasta is nicely al dente, the pesto sauce is amazing, and it comes with sprinkled pine nuts and two slices of garlic bread. Most dishes can have chicken or shrimp added for some extra protein. The ribeye steak is cooked to request, and has a delicious, sweet, fat. Steak prices can vary from around $35 to around $56, depending on the cut and size. Each table has a small menu with current steak prices. They also bring out a varied tray of desserts at the end of the meal, should you have room. Pasta available by the pound, to take home and cook. If you haven't been in before, ask for the TESLA COIL! 😉

Fantastic interior decoration with great ribs, and fantastic oysters. If you are lucky enough to sit by Chris he will let you know how he got to open this restaurant and create his own BBQ sauce. Beware of the Tesla coil!

Food: 5/5 Service: 4.5/5 I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Eureka. This is a local gem. We ordered: steamed clams, ceviche, grilled asparagus, bbq ribs, and various types of steak. Each dish is of high quality and exceeds our expectations. Ceviche: unlike traditional lime flavored, they use tomato/salsa base to marinate the seafood. It is tasty but just doesn't have too much seafood in it though. *** Steamed clams: they are soaked in white wine broth with strong hints of garlic. **** Grilled asparagus: all of us enjoyed this appetizer. It's seasoned well and had a charred flavor that's addicting! Surprisingly good. ***** Bbq ribs: the sauce is really good with a well balance of sweet and sour. I wish it can be more tender as it's not falling off the bones. **** Steak: We had the t-bone, ribeye, and NY strip. All of them are cooked to the best temperature and the meat is really fresh. It also comes with some grilled veggies and a side of your choice too. ****** Overall this place is outstanding. Food, especially the steak, is beyond expectations. Definitely try those if you visit here. The price is really fair too. Only $4 difference between a 12oz and a 16oz steak!!! Service is friendly and they start to get busy after 6pm. Happy hour at the bar only.

This is the best moderate steak house I have ever been to. Its what you demand a steakhouse to be. Barbeque shrimp, smoky charred steaks, beautiful cuts, the sides have a great flavor. The wings are very good, not old tasting. Loved the steamed clams, very authentic. The cocktail was also very good, it was like a jalapeno margerita but with some other sweet fruity flavors. Overall one of the best restaurants I have eaten at for the price. If you like charred, smoky, and salty/peppery, then have the steak. Not disappointed at all.

I would give a 4.5 rating if allowed. This is THE best cornbread muffin I have EVER had. The 4.5 rating is given because a place that serves a muffin that good should not be putting out a mediocore mac-n- cheese. I had the dry aged ribeye and the wife had the t bone, both were delicious and tender. The ribeye was a top 5 for me, and that's the only cut I eat and I've had it in restaurants across the U.S. There's an oak pit and an oak grill, the pit is a smoker, they both use oak wood. As a bonus there is a nice view of the bay.

Great steakhouse. We had a small party of 6. We made reservations, they greeted us outside and sat us early. Service was quick and efficient. Waitress was fun and made our visit enjoyable. Food was delicious and served hot. Mac and cheese was good, vegetables served with steak had good flavor and a little crisp in them still. Ribeye steak with mushrooms was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Garlic fries were good. Long islands were perfect. For a show ask them to turn on the Tesla coil. It's a cool quick show.
