I love their food. I have not found a single thing I don’t like. I love it all. I just finished a Stromboli and it was great. Their spaghetti with cheese on top (you have to ask for it) is the best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. And their pizzas have the thinnest crust ever.

We ordered Sam's delivery for lunch today. One of my co-workers and I decided to split a stromboli and an order of cheesy bread. The stromboli comes with pepper and onions, but we ordered ours with no peppers and onions and added mushrooms. It is a large sandwich so half was plenty. It was hot and delicious and messy! We probably didn't need the cheesy bread but it is really good too. Other employees got the hot ham and cheese (also always good) a chicken Philly and more strombolis. The tab was just over $45 plus tip for five sandwiches and two orders of bread. Always very filling.
Positive!!! We moved to the West side 3 years ago and found this little gem of a place! We order a few times a month since we moved here. Never has our order been incorrect! It has always been hot and fresh. Always super nice to me on the phone when I order. Best place for strombolis in Evansville, hands down.
Called in order for 7 Super Stromboli’s, three without
mushrooms or black olives, two without green pepper and two regulars. Asked that they be marked accordingly, to my surprise
everyone turned out the way they were ordered and every one of them were delicious.

Good food, cheap prices. Hit or miss sometimes, but usually pretty good --- no consistency with how the food is made

sandwiches stromboli or ham are what they know how to make, I suggest trying these above anything else here

Never let down, cant turn away a free 6 pack of soda with ur pizza. Its a safe place i always order from. Never had a bad experience. Been eating here scince i was a teenager. Hasnt changed a bit. Love the philly steak sandwhich.
Love Sam's Wings. Sam's Pizzeria has the best BBQ wings, Love the hot and mild. Love all the food at Sam's, Pizza is the best and the Strom is the best in town...yep that is right I said it "Westside" Best Stromboli in town.

Awesome!. My roommates and I tried the Super Strom. It was really big for being 5.50 and extremely delicious. We also ordered pizza sticks and a pepperoni pizza . Neither were missing anything in flavor.
Customer service was lacking a bit in the enthusiasm department...but the food made up for it.
Underrated local pizza joint! The customer service isn't as upbeat as a franchise but the food is top-notch. Best stroms in town, best wings I've had outside of Buffalo NY. I've also had their roast beef and hot ham and cheese sandwiches; both amazing! Free delivery and amazing prices make this a weekly routine for me.

Super Strom=super awesome!!!. This Super Strom sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had.....so yummy! The only slightly negative comment I have is the 1st time we ordered we got delivery, and it took over an hour - but the food convinced us to try again, so now we just get carryout instead.... YUMMMMM - OOOOOOOO
Best Hot Ham & Cheese!. I think they have the best hot ham & cheese sandwich I have every had! And the breadsticks are great too! Good cheese sauce and if you want a tasty dessert try the chimis. YUM! Slow delivery in my experience so I usually just do carry
The Best, PERIOD!!!!. This is by FAR the best pizza ANYWHERE! The strom is also the BEST! And the cajun chicken sandwhich...OMG! Forget about it, there's no place better!
The pizza was amazing, but what wready favorite was the super strom. That was by far the best strom Ive had in town. Price was very reasonable also.
LOVE SAMS PIZZERIA!!!. I walked into Sams years ago and said, Are you Stom's as good as Pizza Kings? They replied "better!". They weren't kidding. I've ordered them every since then from Sams. We also order lunch sandwiches here at work. They deliver really fast, it has always been correct and they are really sweet friendly folks. I couldn't tell you the name of anyone there, but know them by sight and voice from doing business with them. SAMS is my #1 favorite sandwich and pizza shop.

Sam's Pizzeria, located on W. Delaware by Lefler's Body Shop, is the epitome of what a West side restaurant is all about. There are no frills here, if you need them... I'd advise using their carry out or delivery options. Either way, you'll love the food.
I've never had the pizza, so maybe it's wrong for me to write a review. However, I haven't tried it for good reason. I can never seem to let myself order anything other than their amazing Stromboli. It may be blasphemy, but i'll go ahead and say it... Sam's Pizzeria makes just as good, if not better, strom's than Pizza King.
The best part of all is not so much the price of $5 per sandwich, which rivals the competition, but that they are open until 2 A.M. on Friday and Saturday. They even deliver until fairly close to this time.
My husband brought home pizza and breadsticks for dinner that were great. Especially the breadsticks, what ever you guys put on them, they are perfect. Mushy and soft in middle with a little bit of crispy buttery cheesy taste on outside.

As of 11-11-21 The 'chief' Dave passed away and Sam's has suffered a tremendous loss. After Dave's passing most employees quit. The loyal ones that stayed have been struggling to keep the doors open. It's sad that so many people don't bother to ask what's going on. They just give bad reviews. Rest in peace chief.... as for the health care workers... they are nursing homes and we don't want to put our drivers health or the residents health at risk to deliver an $8 sandwich. This is for the safety of your patients and ourselves. Sorry for your inconvenience but the manager in question doesn't hide in that office. Come in and talk to us anytime she will explain to you that we also have a minimum of $10 deliveries. Terri Kelsey You obviously didn't get a Stromboli rdelivered from us 2 months ago since we haven't had delivery in quite awhile. And for someone who claims to be so Christian you sure don't act like one. Stop using our chiefs name like that and just go to pizza hut or dominoes. Death is not making excuses it's life.
