Are here on the way to the beach. Great authentic mexican food! Outside looks a little rough but don't let this stop you from enjoying great food!
The flavor does not take a siesta. Evergreen, a town over-populated by fast food chains, is fortunate to have a good Mexican restaurant. Named for a state in the western part of Mexico, they offer all the usual favorites with a few nice suprises too. The chips and salsa were good to start with. I ordered the Bisteca La Mexicana, a great, spicy dish with bite sized pieces of steak on a sizzling platter with onions, green peppers, red peppers and jalepenos; it also comes with the rice, beans and garnish. The steak was delicious, full of flavor and just the right amount of heat. Service was very friendly and quick. The dining rooms are good sized. They could use a facelift, but don't let that stop you. Highest price on the menu is about $10, so you won't shell out a lot of dough for a good meal.
Stop and eat here. The fodd is great is and very well priced. Get value. It can be a bit spicy for some, that's Mexican food. I will definately remember to eat here the next time I traveling this way. You should too; no matter what time of day it is.
Good food they were short on help but did pretty well
I've lived in Mexico and was not disappointed by the fare that was available at this restaurant. Doesn't matter if you want American Mexican, Tex-Mex, or Mexican food... This place is actually really good, and appropriately priced.
My family was hungry and were craving Mexican food. I started looking for the closest Mexican Restaurant from the interstate while traveling through the area. Jalisco was the only option that came up. We took a chance and were rewarded with great food, yummy salsa, and a friendly attentive staff. We will definitely be back!
Not far from the highway, this restaurant offers great Mexican food at low prices with good service. Come hungry because you get enough food for a hungry guy.
The food tasted good. The chips are also good with salsa and cheese dip. They always give you salsa. If you want cheese dip, you can ask the waiter for the cheese dip, and he/she will give it to you.
