Pizza and LA Puccia were amazing. I never heard of LA Puccia until I came to this place. Not only is the food amazing but the staff offer great service. I highly recommend Mariano's.
My description is a NYC style pizzeria. The pizza is thin, crispy crust and has a great authentic taste. The La Puccia is unique. It's a thin crust stuffed pie filled with different ingredients. We picked #1 ham salami provolone tomato and onion. The flavor was fresh and tasty. We also ordered #18 the cheese steak and I can only described it as one of the best cheese steaks I have had with top quality steak. This is a BYOB so bring your favorite beverage and enjoy.
The food was amazing and the family is the most loving and beautiful people I have met. I'm so sad for the father I pray🙏 for the family and I promise I'm coming for that pizza on Friday 😜😜 😁... P.S. the cream of mushroom soup is to die for
This small restaurant in Exeter Pa is a hidden gem. This was our 1st visit and we enjoyed the total experience.
This is a BYOB so bring a nice bottle of wine to enjoy while your order is "made to order".
We ordered a #1 and #18 La Puccia. This is a very thin and crispy crust filled with a variety of ingredients. #1 Puccia is ham, salami, provolone, tomatoes and onion. #18 Puccia is cheese steak, peppers, (choice of sweet or hot) onions and mushrooms.
Both Puccia where excellent. Crust was very thin and crusty and allowed us to enjoy the the flavors of the fillings! These are a must try!
In addition we ordered a large Napoleatana pizza. This is a plain cheese pizza with 8 cuts. Excellent home made thin crust, which sauce and real cheese blend. Great taste and texture.
Highly recommended restuarant with great staff. Owner stopped by, Mario, and introduced him self to made sure we where happy with our food!!!!
Great service. Curb side pick up due to Covid. Convient. Ordered a La Puccia. #27 Puccia del Sole. Did not know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised. Actually it was amazing.
Mariano is very friendly, a true people person and makes great food. I do not order here too often, but every summer I must order a tray or the veggie pizza (contadina) when local tomatoes are in season. Sometimes I will take a tray or two to social gatherings especially around late July and through August/Early September. It’s fantastic and a highlight of my summer every year.
Place is fantastic.. owner visited our table several times to make sure everything was perfect for us..we learned of this restaurant by word of mouth.. people weren't lying..as advertised. Food was awesome also.
This is literally some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Their puccia is also quite good and super unique, but I always come back for the pizza since there’s nothing like it anywhere. Every time we come for pick up, Mariano and his family are always so friendly, no matter how busy they are. And they’re often super busy….his daughter Angela at the front is always friendly but hustles like crazy. This is a fantastic place, and although it can be expensive, they’re a family business and high quality. We are regular customers and will be for some time.
Pro tip: try the meatballs, which they often serve on Saturdays. They are melt-in-your-mouth amazing.
If it’s your first time try the La Puccia (#1). It’s like a pizza with a crust lid on top, or a Stromboli without the side crust. Very delicious, and the top crust helps to keep the cheese from burning the roof of your mouth! Brilliant.
Just tried this pizza & puccia. This is honestly the most authentic pizza I have ever tried and the puccia was amazing! I noticed people leaving reviews about it being pricey …… you get what you pay for. The food here is really worth every dollar spent. Also, very nice family! 10/10 recommend. Definitely will be back!
