Great kid's meal prices, super clean bathroom, nice staff, quick service. We ate in and enjoyed the awesome smells, great food, and cleanliness. Appreciate real silverware, metal trays, and more coated paper serving accessories than plastic ones. Even has a glass recycling bin on the waste receptacle. Will return!
It's been a very long time since I've had City barbq, I'm glad I stopped in for lunch!!! The ribs were tender and the flavor was so good, I didn't have to use any sauce! I also loved the cornbread, potato salad, and the best peach cobbler ever!!!! I'll definitely be back soon.
I really love City BBQ. Smokey flavor of their brisket is some of the best "chain restaurants "in Ohio. Every time I go there the people and the atmosphere are really great. The variety of meats and the way you can combine them with the pick two meats and make for a very satisfying experience. I will have to apologize as I did not take any pictures this time but the next time I'm there I will add some pictures of the meals. As for the pricing of City BBQ, it is a little on the high side but with the quality of the food, the great environment in the effort they put in smoking the food is well worth it .
This place is absolutely delicious!! Got the pulled pork on Texas toast. The smoke flavor doesn’t overpower the meat flavor. Highly recommend.

Pulled Chicken is great! The potato salad is awesome. The baked beans were also scrumptious as well as that pulled pork! Yum yum!
We came to this location cause of a horrible experience at finneytown and had a credit to use. Let me tell ya'll it was excellent, food fresh and everything was hot. Everyone was friendly. Sauce area and drink area was very clean, dinner room was clean (we did not have to clean our own table) This will be our location from now, totally worth the drive.
We hit the drive thru as we are staying at a hotel across the street. The food was great in our opinion. I had the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and my wife had the leg and thigh. Only thing I wish was that the Nashville chicken were spicier. We each had corn pudding as a side and it was really good. She also had green beans and liked them, I had the hush puppies and collard greens also. Now I fancy myself as a connoisseur of collards, and these were the second best collards I've ever had.
Yummy! Great service and that smokey BBQ was delicious! The sides were also delicious and a decent size compared to other places. Highly recommend!
We have tried several BBQ places in area the last few years. None top City BBQ. Be sure and try the Brisket, Pulled Pork and Ribs. Amounts are bigger than expected. I do the choose 2 and get Ribs and Brisket. The Hushpuppies are the best we have tried anywhere. Excellent side choices as well, baked beans, green beans, cold slaw just to name a few. Really nice location on Dixie Hwy in Fairfield. The woman who takes care of dining area is a hard worker and checks on everyone. Polite staff all the way around. Give this place a try. You will love it.
City BBQ has elevated the smoking of meat, and the making of sides, to a science. I have eaten at a lot, and I mean a lot, of bbq joints all over the USA. Most do a couple of meats well and others not so well. City Q does everything well. No exaggeration.
This new store in Fairfield is run by the woman that used to run the City Q in West Chester. I've been missing her at the West Chester location, now I know why. At City BBQ you always get a consistently good meal, regardless which location you visit. 👍👍
This place was so great. First time in and the service was helpful and friendly. Atmosphere was clean and staff came around to help clear areas while we were eating. The food was delicious, the BBQ sauce was incredibly tasty and the bathroom was kept very clean as well. Great experience
