Review Carpe Diem Pizza - Fairport

This is the second pizza we got from them this weekend. A Sicilian and a Famous Deluxe. Both were excellent but the Deluxe was superb; one of the best pizzas any of the four of us adults can remember having and well worth the full undiscounted price. Even though they were exceptionally busy with five people working for the Father's Day dinner rush, my walk-in pizza order was ready in under 15 minutes and I had a comfortable wait at their indoor seating area. I even had an opportunity to meet the owner, Scott, who even on Father's Day was working there until after 6:00 pm. They were so busy that he took my order himself. That shows a commitment to his business and to his custumers. I have always liked the original Bay Goodman pizza and was very excited when they opened up in my town. Now that Scott has purchased this location it's even better. I wish them much success because, somewhat selfishly, I want them around for a long time. It's worth noting that on a hot summer day like today they have ice cream and cookies and a variety of fountain, carbonated, and noncarbonated cool drinks on top of their full menu. Not only this but they have a DRIVE-THROUGH which is 100% awesome for a pizza place especially, during COVID season. I'll definitely be back soon.

What a slice! Total love at first bite. Crispy underneath, excellent sauce with a smooth cheese, and I love a pizza place that offers banana peppers. 🤤🥰

Food is always delicious. The house made chips are a favorite. We mostly order online which is convenient and comparable or better to other online order services. The orders are correct including my comment requests for no bun. The orders show up during the expected time frame too. I've been in a few times to pick up an order - no complaints either.

The food is so delicious and has always been finished on time when I arrive. When ordering online if we spend over $30 we can get free garlic knots or pizza frittata (like fried dough bites). They're both absolutely delicious. At most other pizza places those items suck, but they're absolutely delicious and basically free here! I am full but want to eat more. The pizza is amazing too obviously.

This is a wonderful place! Delicious pizza, calzones and the best brownies! We have never had a bad meal and have tried most everything on the menu. Large portions, plus very friendly staff/owners. Michelle and Kitty always remember me when I stop in and are so nice to deal with.

Food is always ready on time and delicious. Never had an issue, owners/employees seem to truly enjoy putting out quality food at a reasonable price. Pizza and wings some of the best in town and that's saying something as pizza and wings are western NY "thing"! Thanks and keep it up!

New management personable and friendly! New guy behind the counter making food, Brandon I think? Definately knows what he's doing. Got pizza and wings. Generous with portions and good overall flavour. Wings were nice and crispy, perfect crunch on the outside. Good sauce. Basic. 4.5 overall. No complaints

Really good hole in the wall pizza place with all kinds of food. Meatball subs, pizza, burgers, mozzarella sticks and more! Tasty and fair prices. Super friendly staff. Quiet. Indoor and out door dining areas, only a couple of seats. Really cozy. I'll be back.

I'm torn with this review. The pizza and wings were cooked perfectly. Absolutely delish. We got a 16" Da Vinci, and hot buffalo wings. The pie was perfect. The wings were cooked perfect; but if this is your hot buffalo sauce.... I've had mild wings w more heat. Step on the gas please.

Delivery drivers are excellent and the food is far beyond the quality of the "normal" pizzaria. Our entire staff orders from them several times a week, and we have never been disappointed. Try the Rochester Burger!

I highly recommend the Deluxe pizza it is absolutely perfectly balanced and flavor I prefer a thin crust on myself but this Pizza flavor balance is absolutely perfect I should know I'm a certified judge for the Kansas City Barbeque Association and if I were to rate this pizza it would be a 09. First of all, best and most consistent pizza around in the 585. B&G uses the little pepperonis which are always crispy and holds just enough of the grease to make the slice mouth watering to say the least. Being a Buffalo area native, I am extremely picky when it comes to good pizza and wings. Wings are cooked perfectly and there is just enough zing to keep you licking your fingers and wanting more. And you want to know what the kicker is? They even serve dessert!!!! I just had an amazing apple cinnamon cupcake topped with whipped cream. Moist, soft, and tasty would sum up my sugary finish. Impressive all around place, great customer service, very friendly, quick and detail oriented. BGs and TKs tie for the best pizza on the east side!!!! Keep up the great work!!! If you think the chains, I call them “fast food pizzas places”, hold a candle to either of these places you don’t know good pizza and should honestly do some self reflection.

Ordered 3 sheets and 150 wings for a party. Talked to Scotty D he was very friendly and helpful and was able to get me a great deal but when the pizza arrived there was no blue cheese or celery. I called immediately to ask why I didn't receive blue cheese or celery they said they would come back out. A half hour later (I live 5 mins away) I received 6-8 small cups of blue cheese and a handful of carrots and a handful of celery. Originally the plan was to get a few 8oz containers now I had maybe 8oz total for 3 sheets and 150 wings. The quality of the food was good but unfortunately the execution wasn't.

They can't correctly complete an order, they are 0-3 on our previous orders. On top of receiving what I did not order, they have consistently blamed me for ordering wrong. Good luck with that company model.

Not just pizza, they make a great plate with the real kind of Greek meat sauce. The new managers are awesome!

I used to have a close friend that lived close by, and ever since he moved, I haven't had the opportunity to order your pizza. I'm sorry, but the large chains such as Dominoes, Papa Johns, and Pizza Hut just can't compete with Bay & Goldman's!�

1st time impression. Not good won’t go back. Was told one price and charged $7 more when picking it up for “free” fritatta. Told can’t use coupon we got in the mail with free online free fritatta. Should have been told that when we called the order in. Or at least honor their mistake. The fritatta is only $4.29 so not sure where the extra $7 came from. Pizza-eh! Wings fatty. Back to J&L’s next time

My name is Scotty d. I grew up at 522 N Goodman St just 5 blocks from the one and only original Bay & Goodman Pizza and Bar on the corner of Bay and Goodman Streets. A bunch of us would go down on a Saturday night, order a large pizza, plop it down on the hood of the car and eat it right there in the parking lot. We called it Pizza On the Hood. After driving the last 13 years over the road I was looking for a business to buy and settle down back home. To me this was a once in a lifetime opportunity so I'm giving my all to carry on the great taste and tradition of the Bay & Goodman name. Although their hours on google and on Grubhub say 1pm - 9pm for Sunday, I ordered food, went to pick it up and then got there and the front doors were locked. Place was closed, no sign of any employees. I'm glad I didn't put delivery and wait for hours not knowing what was going on. Very irresponsible for a place of business to neglect updating ordering services with their hours. Won't be going here again. Mediocre food anyway I only ordered because it was close by.

I prevleslly said no BAY and GOODMAN PIZZA from Fairport any more but leaning that a new owner Scott took over I ordered one tonight xtra large with my topping s it was the VERY BEST PIZZA I have in a long time the place was spotless very clean great location I will be there every week Monday s I give 4 and half stat s. YOU MUST GO THERE AND EAT....
