Review Fair Pour - Fairport

The coffee: Arguably the best latte I've had in the Rochester area, at least in recent memory. Beautiful latte art with smooth well structured foam. The espresso taste was well balanced, and, also importantly, the flavored syrup wasn't used in an overwhelming quantity, but rather complimentary. I recommend the lavender cardamom. Additionally the cost is competitive even with the superior quality. The food: Maybe a bit pricey for the amount of food, but very tasty all the same. I had the Athens panini, it came with a dill pickle and seasoned kettle chips and made a lovely light lunch. The space: Spacious. Business was steady the entire time I was there, but there was still plenty of seating. Modern vibe with lots of light from the floor to ceiling window along the front. My only qualm is with the high ceilings and vast amount concrete/hard surfaces it's a bit of an echo chamber. I don't think anything particularly loud was going on but it still felt kinda noisy anyway.

Loved this place! I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte and OG breakfast sandwich. They have coffee, pastries, and breakfast/lunch selections. The service is excellent and speedy. I love that they have ample indoor and outdoor seating. Very cool modern/industrial vibe. I can’t wait to come back with family and friends, especially for the fall season! :)

I would never think of peaches and cream for a cold nitro, but it’s actually delicious. So is the salad! The staff here is always nice and easy-going, and the food always delicious. I recommend this place to friends and colleagues, and even come here for small business meetings on the patio out front.

Delicious oat latte. The style and atmosphere is very pleasing. Highly recommend if in the area, will be back.

went for brunch. Friendly staff and delicious food. The matcha late tasted fresh and not sweet. The jammy was jam packed with goat cheese.

Fairpour has quickly become my favourite places to go - the food and drinks are consistently great. The breakfast sandwiches are a great pick me up after my overnight shifts, and I always grab a coffee to go for when I go back to work in the evening. High recommend!

Great selection of lattes, sandwiches, and kombucha on tap. Service is quick and the staff are friendly. Lots of room to sit inside and outside and every wall/counter seat has dedicated outlets. parking - large private lot shared with other business public wifi - reliable 5Ghz w/ password bathrooms - yes

Even at its busiest times, the atmosphere is so relaxing! It's my favorite place to get Kombucha and a healthy lunch and the staff is super sweet! Parking is usually accessible and if there is a line to order, it goes fairly quickly. I really recommend the maple cinnamon latte! Their latter art is so stinkin adorable!

Stopped in today and ordered Avocado Toast with a slice of Turkey, came out with sundried tomatoes and cilantro! Taste was really great! Highly recommend this place, tell em Dave sent ya!

Was excited to try a new place out after reading about it in the paper a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I think what it boils down to, was the awful dynamic between the two workers behind the counter. They had extremely poor communication between each other, which was, in my opinion due to the hostility of the male employee. The female employee was clearly feeling stressed working with him, and they on more than one occasion, bristled at each other. Typically, I feel comfortable sitting at the bar at a coffee shop. However, sitting at this bar, I felt as though I were encroaching on their space and it was extremely uncomfortable. Ordered a crepe, and I am pretty sure the girl was not proficient yet in making them. She attempted to ask the guy to switch positions with her so she could make drinks and he could make up the crepe, but he ignored her. So, on she attempted with the crepe...and failed. The crepe was much too thick and not thoroughly cooked. Half way through making my crepe, the guy rudely took over making it. As a result, the blueberries in it were still cold and the lemon marscapone had no lemon flavor to it at all. I ate it anyway, because I felt really bad for this girl working with such a hostile person. No one should have to work under such conditions, and I'm rather angry with the business owner for not training staff enough that they feel comfortable doing all the duties they need to and for not making sure that all their employees can work together and feel that they can communicate concerns. Overall disappointed, and concerned for the girl having to work a whole shift in hostile conditions. On the plus side, the pour over she made was delicious.

Just got back from our first visit where we were hoping to enjoy a cup of coffee and a tea latte. Unfortunately, we never got the chance.. We like to support the local businesses, but this was so disappointing I don't think we'll be back. The one server behind the counter was so busy, understandably, but not overly friendly. We asked and she agreed to take our order when she was finished, but she ended up serving at least three new sets of customers that came in after us. We ended up leaving without any kind of service after 30 minutes. Poor customer service on what was otherwise a nice snowy Sunday morning in the coffee shop.

Great beer selection for a true beer lover. Also had wonderful Ethiopian pour-over. My wife and I are big fans of it’s atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping in.

Tried the Fair Pour this past weekend. The food was really good as was the service. Enjoyed the coffee and the staff was happy to share some of their knowledge. I'll be back for a draft beer someday too!

I have been here three times now and get consistency in flavor and texture in every cup. So glad there is a fine coffee spot close to home. If you really love coffee and are tired of the assembly line stores give #FairPour a try. FYI... Roasted by Glen Edith Coffee Roasters

The lattes were so delicious! My husband had an amazing panini & I had a yummy crepe! Highly recommend this cafe!!! The juices are so refreshing too! Can't wait to go back & try everything on the menu :)

Not a fan. I miss the comfortable atmosphere where you could sit and read. I used to go there to study or to just read a book and now I find the location to be cold and uninviting. I have stopped in a few times to get a latte for my elderly mother and neither of us enjoy the flavors offered. To me, FairPour is out of place in Fairport and I am disappointed. I wish the coffee shop had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Maybe you are looking to serve a younger crowd. I won't be returning.

Missing the cozy atmosphere that used to be in this location. The new place is suffering from an identity crisis. Juice bar decor with coffee bar menu. We came to visit near closing time and the man behind the counter was clearly annoyed at having to whip up one more chai. With the prices being higher than Starbucks, there is nothing offered that will make me choose to come again.

I've been there twice since they opened. So far so good. Both times have been early evening (7ish), once on a Monday and then a Tuesday. The place was quiet (just 2 other people) both times. I ordered a mocha latte both visits and it was consistent and on par with other cafes I visit. Hoping though they extend their evening hours till at least 9 at some point.

The coffee is the best and the owners are so receptive to ideas and feedback. New brunch items are a great addition. New businesses in the village deserve the community's support as they get off the ground! A favorite place to work and meet with friends.

Finally a healthy choice in the village! Delicious crepes, pressed all natural juices, and panini sandwiches all very reasonably priced. Staff was extremely friendly and the place was spotless. I ate there 2 times in one week and even stopped in 1/3 time for another pressed juice.

I have been here a handful of times and really love it. The employees have been pleasant and seemed to get along when we were there. The coffee was excellent. Adding a more kid friendly food option to the menu would be great.

First visit (I'm from Florida) since Fairpour separated from Towpath. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Decor is cool, minimalistic (miss the guitar sculptures), but comfy as ever. Coffee was good but I need more visits to compare lattes and food choices. I enjoyed the atmosphere so I'll be back. Cheers
