An absolutely wonderful culinary experience. We were pleasantly entertained by our awesome waiter and he made it an even better experience. A really nice casual ambiance to enjoy a very tasty Latin flavored meal. You have your Mexican cuisine staples but the other entrees are delicious and very interesting. I enjoyed the salmon over spinach. I would definitely recommend it to others and am coming back.
Very nice Mexican restaurant with great food and drink. Their tequila selection is pretty wide and well. Service was very friendly and attentive as well. The table side guacamole is a must-have. The potion was so big that I ended up taking half of it home. They have spacious indoor dining area and also few outside seating as well.
Came here on a Saturday night. Very nice place. Atmosphere is nice. Great ambience and decor. Romantic vibes... but very very very noisy/ loud.
Food was good but not great. It could've been better. What I loved the most was the guacamole de calle & the red sangria ...so delicious.
Nachos & salsa for the table included.
A nice, relaxed weekday dinner in a large and airy space, over authentic and fresh Mexican food. Loved the ambience, the right volume of music, the attentiveness of wait staff, the crisp professionalism exhibited all through. Table nachos were warm and crisp, served with red and green salsa. The fajitas were great, the carne asada was spectacular. Flan, tres leches, and hazelnut brownies finished off a great evening.
Had a blast here. I only had the steak quesadillas but they were delicious. We sat near the bar where it was a bit more peaceful as in the back was very noisy as one would expect at a busy restaurant but our waiter was awesome and very attentive.
CaraCara is a place i've been going to for years in Farmingdale, it is a nice place to go to, the staff is extremely nice and Curtious as well. The owners are extremely nice always say hello, and I love the Guacamole Cart they have it's phenomenal. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Please do go if you can whether it's for a Birthday, Anniversary, work related, or date night CaraCara is just a place I highly recommend and I keep coming back to have great meals. Do yourself a favor and please go here you won't regret it. Finally the atmosphere is great Highly recommend again.
Great lunch here! We got guacamole that was made tableside - it was very creamy and not spicy (even the one with extra spice). The chips came straight from the oven and were super warm. I got the Mexican Fiesta Salad with shrimp and was thoroughly surprised at how good it was!
We had the entire place to ourselves for lunch on Tuesday, but the whole room was very dark. Brighter lighting would be great to add for at least lunchtime.
I'm a huge fan of enchiladas suizas, it's my go to dish at any place.
This had to be my favorite I have had. The sauce had the right consistency and was just everything I look for when ordering suizas.
I can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu.
Food is really good, it wasn't busy when we were there but waiting for our food felt like it was, although it didn't really matter after tasting the food
The food is very good. Everything I've had here I haven't had a complaint about. It always seemed a little pricier than I would expect. That may be my opinion though. Their margaritas are very good and I do like the table side guac. However, it always seems to come back to the fact that it always feels overpriced for what you're getting.
Also the atmosphere is very dark. It's a nice setup just too dark for me in that you can't really see things well.
If you don't mind the above then you'll enjoy the food you'll receive and the service is very attentive.
My go to local comfort Mexican Restaurant. Worth the trip even if you're not local. Dazzling cocktails like the Cadillac Margherita and Coconut Crusher. Guacamole made to your liking in front of you. Queso Fundido is indeedo fun to eat. Great Salmon dish and of course they have the usuals.
Great reataurant. Staff was delightful and professional. Would certainly return. Food and drinks were also delicious.
We have eaten here twice. Both times had different items and the food and drink both delicious each time. We have not had to wait but we usually make a reservation. The menu has a nice difference from a typical Mexican selection
Been going here for quite some time now and they are amazing. They have found an elegant way to elevate the Mexican style food experience. I have tried numerous dishes here and I'm never disappointed. Always great specials. The friendly staff is always ready to make a fun time for you. Table side guacamole is a must and oh so yummy!!! Tequila tasting with a flight and some great margaritas. Call an uber and have fun!!! Thanks guys
This place is by far my favorite spot on Main Street in Farmingdale..... The "Carne Asada" is my go to meal and you MUST HAVE THE GUACAMOLE, made table side fresh!!
You get what you pay for here it's not cheap but far from expensive.

Randomly chose this spot for dinner and it was a great choice! Love the red sangria and I'm assuming the pitcher would've been worth it if I wasn't driving. The make the guacamole right in front of you and i can only think of one other restaurant that does that and it's in the city. Chris, our waiter was really attentive and down to earth. Definitely returning for ladies night at the bar.
