I was visiting Farmingdale and chose Bagel Hut because even the bad reviews tend to start with "The bagels are great, but..."
There's no "but" on that sentence for me. I had a great experience and the bagels are fantastic. A strong candidate for the best everything bagel I've ever had. One of the owners welcomed me (I was visiting from out of town), asked how I heard of the place, and gave me a free cup of coffee. Plus there where two free bagels for every dozen. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to LI.
The food is great! I recently moved to Farmingdale and was hoping to find a good bagel/breakfast spot. I'm very happy to have found bagel hut. The bagels are fresh and delicious and the staff is not at all skimpy with the cream cheese. I also recently ordered an omelette with home fries and it came with bread/bagel and coffee. The prices are also very fair. I definitely recommend this place for your breakfast needs!
Bagel Hut truly stands out with their exceptional bagels, consistently delivering a delightful blend of freshness and flavorful varieties. My personal favorite is the luscious strawberry cream cheese, which surpasses any other I've ever tried. Without a doubt, they deserve a perfect 10 out of 10 in my book!
Absolutely our family's favorite bagel place and they are NOT by any means our closest place. Bagels are the perfect tender/chewy balance. Platters and breakfast sandwiches are also fantastic and absolutely humongous.
My SOs mom always comes here and gets us lox and whitefish or a bacon egg and cheese. I like the rainbow bagels!
The service was ok. It was a little inconsistent since one person in our group was offered macaroni salad but no one else was? But overall it was good.
The bagels here are superior. The everything bagels are my personal fave. The love they put into the bacon egg & cheese is still unmatched. They don’t just slather everything together on the bagel, they marry the ingredients. The bacon is crumbled and crunchy. The egg is a semi-runny perfect consistency. The cheese perfectly melted onto the egg. The flavor? Phenomenal. It’s a consistently busy spot so IDK how they do it, but I’m really glad I can call this place my bagel spot.
The Hungry Woman, French toast breakfast sandwich was Amazing and delicious, 3 Meat's and cheese, well worth it with a Free Cup of coffee too.!!! Alberto
Best bagels ever! Not to mention the customer service is top notch. I always get my bagels here to bring into work for party's and always get the nicest compliments. Today I brought in 2 dozen mini bagels and everyone was raving about them. Love this place!
Went there for the first time and ordered 3 ham and egg on an egg everything bagel. When we arrived home, we realized that they had made them with plain egg bagels. While initially a little disappointed it ended up being The BEST we've ever had. It was amazingly delicious!!

Every week, our office purchases bagels from this place for morning breakfast. The bagels are always fresh with a crunchy exterior and a soft interior. The cream cheese spread is always flavorful. Especially the vegetable cream cheese. Highly recommend.
