The good thing about this place is thst they open late, they have half priced appetizers after 10pm and overall has a good atmosphere. The food is good, service is fast and the guy who was our server, David was very friendly and not pushy at all like asking all the time if we are okay or if we needed anything. I think he is the best server that we've had anywhere we've been. There is plenty of parking available. Good location too considering there is a movie theater right across it and a lot of shopping.
The order sure took a while but our server made the wait worth while. She kept checking on us, updating us and was very very hospitable. The food was very good and it was nice to see how crowded the place was.
I absolutely love this place. The staff is always warm and welcoming and attentive. My favorite appetizer is the pretzels w the cheese dip. To die for. Soft buttery pretzel sticks dipped in warm white cheese sauce and mustard if you like. Their burgers are scrumptious and mouthwatering. The management is top notch. Ask for Paul. Say hello. Tell him his sister recommends this place. All their menu options are a win win. 🏆

I had the server Charlie and let me tell you it was an amazing experience. He was the nicest guy ever and was very hard working. All the food came out quick and he was a pleasure to talk to.

Farmingdale NY location. Writing a review on Amanda. This has become our go-to spot. Food is surprisingly good, but we come back because of the service. Amanda is stationed at the bar when we come in for lunch during the week. She always comes to the table with a huge smile, a friendly welcome and our beverages without even asking. She somehow remembers what EVERYBODY drinks! We can also say, “I will have the usual” and she remembers! It’s actually quite remarkable, and because of all these little things, she makes it such a wonderful experience to have lunch in this restaurant. We have so many choices in our area for lunch, but always come back to this Applebee’s because of Amanda. And also a shout out to the cook. Not only does he make great burgers and pasta dishes, but he grills salmon to perfection! And when we strive to be “healthy” and order broccoli instead of fries, we even enjoy his vegetables! We shared this feedback with the manager, who is also a very nice guy. Hopefully Applebees recognize the difference people like Amanda makes and rewards them. They grow the business just by being great people who we enjoy seeing on our lunch break!
Just had an amazing lunch here with some friends! The food was not only delicious but came out very quickly. The service we received was also top notch. Our waitress, Jasmine, was not only kind and welcoming but attentive. It seemed like she genuinely wanted us to have a great experience! Will definitely return!

My husband and I go to Applebees a lot and always have a great experience. We have gotten David for our server many times, and he is terrific. He is very personable and always makes you feel welcome. I would highly recommend this Farmingdale location as they have a wonderful staff.
Went in to grab my to go order. Kristen was such a big help and very nice and welcoming! The rest of the staff was warm and caring to my situation when I realized the drink order didn’t go thru. Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp is one of the best meals on their menu, although they make nice juicy burger platters. Drinks are watered down., but i like the family atmosphere.
