We went with our good friends kenny & Donna and we each had a completely different & delicious meal! The pasta Bolognese with fresh egg noodles was absolutely spectacular! Tasted like my moms home made. We also had chicken Parmesan, fish and chips, and salmon with fresh mashed potatoes and broccolini! Bartender John and the manager Mary were very kind to us- great service! great cold drinks! Great place for couples or family dinners! οΏ½ looking Forward to drinks on the outdoor patio!

I just had my son's communion party there today and I wanted to share what a success it was and how accommodating Alex and his staff were. The food, drinks and atmosphere were wonderful and he truly let me design the party however I wanted and brought it all to fruition. I would recommend The Turning Point as a perfect place for a party!
If your looking to have a party, I would highly recommend Turning Point. We had a 30th party for my nephew last weekend, it turned out great in every way. The owner and manager couldn't have been any nicer. The food was the best I have ever had for a catered affair.
This is one of those special places where the food is great , the staff is phenomenal and the owner Alex is really just an incredible person. To really top it off, they are extremely supportive of live music and always have great entertainment. You canβt go wrong when you spend time at the Turning Point restaurant !!
The Owner Alex is a genuinely nice guy. The food is great. Atmosphere is nice and cocktails are on point. Would highly recommend!!! I have been back three times.

This is a really nice place ... people are nice owner is awesome . Had tai chili wings omg to die for and the crab cake on top of black bean salad is fantastic!! Great local place . Highly suggest to go take a look at it

Charming restaurant with excellent food and dedicated staff. On Mondays they have a Buy One Dinner, Get 1 Dinner free!!! Friendly Atomsphere and great drinks too.....My Hanger steak was superb and the handcut fries with garlic sauce was spot on....ππππππππ¬π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬
Great food great staff. Went for the Axcess Baseball Podcast and ended up having a great meal watching the podcast taping.

The staff at The Turning Point is phenomenal! I just had my son's Communion party there and they went above & beyond in every way to make it into a very special event for our family. The owner Alex and catering manager Mary were a pleasure to work & plan with. Our waitress Jessica was a sweetheart who not only kept our guests plates & glasses full, but also took photographs for us & entertained our young guests! The food and drinks were delicious and they made sure the party went off without a hitch. (They even decorated the restaurant beautifully with the decorations I dropped off the night before because we had to be at the church early & could not do so ourselves the morning of the party!) Exceptional service and hospitality.
Recently celebrated a birthday at The Turning Point. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Thank you so much for an amazing night!

Had the Angus steak and a few drinks on the way to an event. The steak was perfect! The owner was very friendly, and the place itself was very clean. Definitely adding it to my "come back" list for next time I'm in the area.
Food was excellent, the buffalo chicken sandwich was very good.
Music was fire.
Bathrooms were immaculately clean.
Chairs and bench in the dining area are very comfy.
Service was great, Cindy was lovely and friendly.
10/10 will return.
I went here with a large party, and the waitress was very nice and patient with us. For such a large group (20+), the drinks and food all came out relatively quickly and the food was pretty good! Some standouts were the wings, nachos, and steak sandwich. All together pleasantly surprised!

Alex the owner is great! Honest business man and a pleasure to talk to. Trests his employees like a gentleman! Clean & respectful local bar. They had a band here a few weeks ago that make a cool atmosphere to enjoy a beer with your wife or good friends!
This place is probably one of the best bars I've been to on long island. It's very nice to come and sit down and eat. We all had a very nice time for a late dinner. For starters we got onion rings which were nice and crispy but not to breaded and barbecue wings which were well done and tasted amazing. For a main I got the Smokehouse Burger and I was not disappointed. It came with fries coleslaw and a pickle. This burger is one of the best I've ever had and that includes top tier resturaunts, lots of bacon a egg and tasty barbecue sauce. It was juicy and the crunch from the bacon. I was stuffed by the end of the night and barley had enough room for the cheesecake. If you want a burger this is the place to go. I will definitely have this place at the top of my list when I go out.
I'm giving this place 5 stars for the food. Last night was my second visit and the food did not disappoint. Wings, mango habenaro, are the best. My first visit I had the Cuban Sandwich for entree. Last night I had the meatloaf. Excellent! Last night they also had a wonderful 3 piece ensemble, for entertainment. What was troubling, for me, the owner felt the need to stand on a table and start yelling at the crowd to chime in to his howling, I'm sure he thought he was singing, but he was not, he was disruptive to the point that I couldn't wait for the band to break so I could leave. Sad because this could be a great place for Farmingdale.

Best place for Live Music in Farmingdale NY. I got to see Bobcat One Man Band perform. Best show of my life. The staff here are also top notch
Wow. One of Farmingdale's truly hidden gems. Right across from Allen Park. I first went here with my wife the week before Father's Day. We absolutely loved it. Went back for Father's Day, and then about a week later we had our daughters's ( yes plural on the daughters, I have twinsπ) post graduation celebration dinner here with about 12 family members. Alex and his incredible staff made this a truly wonderful experience. The food is amazing, and they have something for all tastes. The greatest thing about this place is the bang you get for your buck. Please give this place your patronage. You will not regret it.
We eat at the Turning Point regularly and we've enjoyed EVERY meal. Whatever we've tried, it's always a hit. Varied beer menu, live music on weekends, outside seating in nice weather and great service. Why wouldn't we love this place!
As a life long F'dale resident i like to help out local business. Wife and I just wanted a simple burger. Stopped in was greeted right away and was able to choose any table I wanted. Both of us ordered the Al's burger and it was cooked perfect and tasted great. Had a local beer and pinot grigio both cold and delightful...would visit again for sure

Not sure if it was the place or the people I was with but, had a good time here. Bartender Cindy is amazing and I believe guy who is owner was pretty cool too, after awhile.

Food selection was good. Drink selection was good. Place was packed on a Friday night with regulars. Sitting at the bar was great with quick service and great views of the game on TV and the live band on Fridays.
Good food at a reasonable price. Some nights have live entertainment. Cozy local bar. Usually the owner is on premises to oversee all. Way to go as far as I'm concerned!!
