Went to a private party here this past Sunday. Beautiful decor and so festive! The most impressive thing that few restaurants ever have were the pitchers of real brewed Ice Tea...just delightful and so few do it! We ended with wonderful brewed coffee.
This place is NICE!
The appetizers were great . The pretzel cheese board was huge ....definitely enough to share with friends .The guacamole with shrimp was great , as were the crab cake appetizers.
The Steakhouse burger ? (I think) was delicious with a kick from the horseradish . We will definitely be heading there again .
We stopped in for happy hour and they had mussels for $5 , so we ordered a cup of broccoli soup a small Cesar salad a order of mussels Marinara and a order of pesto mussels. The soup was delicious tge Cesar salad needed more dressing and I didn't see our server until the mussels came out by that time I was done with the salad. The Marinara sauce was really good and the amount of mussels you get are well worth the $5. The pesto sauce was somewhat not present, as I like to use my mussel shell like a spoon and get some sauce with each mussel. I was unable to do that with the pesto however their was alot of Marinara sauce. Great value for a happy hour.
Cannot recommend The Buck Hotel enough if you’re looking for a wedding venue. Lauren was absolutely incredible to work with. She was responsive, reassuring, communicative, and made our experience what it was. They have a fabulous price point and the service was phenomenal. This venue works for the any type of bride. They have great decor/linens that are included or you can make your wedding visions come true. Whatever we wanted, Lauren made it happen. We also got a ton of compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how good the food and drinks were. The entire staff down to the bartenders and servers were just lovely and made our night even better. Look no further if you want a beautiful inclusive wedding venue with attentive staff.

We had to rebook our baby shower last minute here because another venue fell through and canceled on us a week before our event date. Lauren was very accommodating and we were able to book our same date / time and flawlessly rebook here! It was definitely an upgrade. Customer service was excellent, the staff helped us set up, they frequently asked if we needed anything and made sure everything was perfect for us - and the event was beautiful. We had the Betsy Ross room and it was perfect for 30 people. The food was very fresh - the only criticism was that it was very bland and lacked seasoning which didnt seem to mirror their normal standard for food as far as flavor goes, and considering the cost per plate bc they are a bit pricey. We were also charged an extra 100 bucks for a soda bar that i didnt ask for and unfortunately nobody drank but considering how accommodating they were for us i didnt raise an issue with it and we were happy nonetheless with everything overall. Great event, Thanks again! Will definitely hold another event here.
Enjoyed a wonderful and delicious dinner by the fireplace at The Buck Hotel this evening! Drinks were great. Service was outstanding!
The food was good and our waitress was great. I think it's ridiculous to charge $5 for bread for the table. There is now a 3% economic fee at restaurants. Some people wouldn't even notice the extra charge but we overheard from the ONLY table next to us. We frequently go out to eat and are used to the prices of things now but charging for bread is sad. The staff are great but this kind of screams price gouger from the owner. Also, the table next to us said the Frank Sinatra impersonator was $68. A buffet is included but only cash bar. That's a little ridiculous because we are frequent concert goers and you can see a "real deal" for the same. Overall the Atlantic cod was delicious and the atmosphere was nice.
What a great experience! I only write reviews for exceptional places . I’ve been going to the Buck for many years and go out frequently at all the best places i can find from here to AC. I walked into the bar to find the most vibrant energetic dedicated bar tender Michelle. This is difficult to find . She loves her job and couldn’t have been any better at anything with her service.Michelle is 6 Stars. I asked for a special “off the menu “dinner and she worked with the great chef to make my experience something I’ll look forward to again and bring my friends and family back to appreciate. I hope her management understands what an asset she is to their business. Thank you Michelle, her bar back and kitchen crew. Great job !
The crab salad and the swordfish were excellent. The Manhattan clam chowder needs improvement. Way too thick. It is also time to start giving fresh rolls with the meals.
Love the atmosphere, and the staff. The food is always on point. Our waiter Joey brings a different experience every time we come. His outgoing personality, and always making sure our drinks are full is what brings us back again and again. Colleen and Maria keep the bar running smooth and make a hell of an expresso martini. Highly recommend asking for Joey!
Had the choice of two lunch. I ordered the chicken and my aunt had the tilapia. Boy was good? We were filled to the limit and the coffee wasn't bad.
