Review Musashi Exotic Japanese Cuisine - Feasterville

Food was fantastic. Not the run of the mill sushi place. Lots of manga hanging on the walls and shelves full of collectibles. Really eclectic decor that keeps you occupied. 5 out of 5 food.

Loved this place. Authentic atmosphere, delicious Japanese food and friendly service. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

A hidden gem tucked away in a shopping strip, this place boasts fresh authentic Japanese fare and a cozy atmosphere. The only thing I would warn about for on-site dining is to make a reservation ahead of time if you can, as their dine-in seating is limited and they will prioritize reservation holders over walk-ins.

Omg, I love this place! My husband loves coming here for their authentic ramen and I love coming here for their sushi. The ramen is definitely the best out of all the places we have tried. Owners are Japanese so their food and quality is quite on point. Their green tea ice cream are delicious too, not those milky matcha ice cream out there. Such a great restaurant still has a few negatives. This mom and pop is quite small and spaces are tight. I did not even plan to push my stroller inside. That’s how limited the spaces are. Another down side is they changed the way customers placed their order. Back then servers come to your table, now they require the customer to get up and head to the cashier in to place their order, which I think isn’t a smart idea. With this little walk room and tables with bench, definitely not a convenient way to their customers. Imagine you have a party of 4, best way would probably be one person ordering for the table instead of everyone trying to squeeze out of their seat and cramp themselves in that tight narrow walkway. Even with that being said, I believe I would still return here for their ramen and delicious food.

Don't be fooled by the location or size, I had an Amazing experience...from the warm welcome from the owner, to the friendly service from our waitress, to the absolutely delicious food! My sister and I enjoyed ourselves and ate until our tummies were content! We shared the deep fried spicy tuna stuffed avocado appetizer and vegetable gyoza...I had the seafood ramen and a dragon roll! So good!!! Not to mention all of the authentic Japanese trinkets for purchase (chopsticks, fans, anime shirts/framed artwork, etc)... I'll be going back very soon!

Musashi is a pretty darn good Japanese restaurant, up there with the Bay Area ones. The food is all a-ok. We got a lot of food here right from the Spicy Tuna Avocado starter to the pretty heavy Una-don and Salmon Chirashi. The spicy tuna avocado starter is a must. You would probably wanna have more than one. It's quite a mouthful but the blend of flavors is just right. On the other hand, I'd skip the Salmon Ceviche. Even though the Salmon was fresh (I'm pretty sure), it did not taste fresh. We got 3 rolls, two of them were Build your own rolls. I loved this concept, where you get to pick your inside, your outer layer and some more add-ons. The price was also very reasonable. I wish this was more of a thing in other places too! For the main course, we got the Una-don and the Salmon/Ikura Chirashi. They were both pretty well done. However, I missed the hot stone pot that I'm used to eating my Unagi from. It got cold pretty fast. We also got the seafood ramen and the house ramen. The house ramen was one of those perfect bowls of noodles. The broth was just right - not too heavy or too cold. But despite all this, I'd only give Musashi 3.5 out of 5, because of the long wait times. We had to wait for about an hour after we ordered to get our food. I understand that they have only one chef. So be prepared for this when you head here!

Very small mom and pop restaurant. Only had one server running all tables. However the food quality and service did not disappoint and there is a nice array of anime themed items and food that can be purchased

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Bucks County and the only Japanese owned sushi restaurant in bucks county. Everything is made fresh by trained sushi master chefs and shipments of fresh fish are brought in daily. For the time being reservations are required, but it's definitely worth it for the experience. Prices are extremely reasonable for the great service provided and the environment is very airy but also cozy.

Note: Reservations only, call ahead! Nice little Japanese restaurant. The ramen here is excellent. I also got a seared wasabi tuna appetizer which was very fresh and spicy. The sauce for it was amazing. The hostess was very polite, and accommodating. There are things you can shop for around the restaurant too; mostly anime apparel. Pictured: their house special ramen, and the seared wasabi tuna steak appetizer.

Got Linner on Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed it very much. Raman was delicious, cucumber rolls were tasty, Gyoza had nice flavor and good crisp along with katsu bite. Wife got salmon rolls, and mini soupy pork buns...don't ask just order.. so good...will be back..

This is seriously a cool place! So different from the cookie-cutter Japanese restaurants in the area. First of all, they have what every restaurant that offers sushi should have: a build your own sushi roll option! Seriously…why don’t more places do this??? Also, their ramen is crazy good. Perfect for a cold day. Second, a word of warning. The food does NOT come out fast. That’s because everything is made fresh so expect to be there for a while. Finally, the service is always solid. We will dearly miss Keiko, but they are still operating amazingly. She was one of the reasons my young daughter fell in love with Japanese food. If you want a more authentic Japanese meal, check it out.

This place is better than I expected. Atmosphere: Walking in I was taken back slightly because it literally looks like Japanese pop culture exploded inside of it. It's covered with anime merchandise, samurai art, bokken, candies, etc. It does give the place character but also lowered my expectations a bit (they were already low because I simply find it impossible to find good Japanese food outside of Center City) since I kind of felt like I was in a confused convenience store. The staff on the other hand were lively and attentive, which was great. Starter: We ordered the mini pork soupy bun which was more like a soup dumpling, not like a chashu bun you'd get in many ramen places in the city, regardless it was excellent. Main: We ordered ramen with an egg and spicy garlic. I could knit-pick and say I wish the egg yolk was runnier and that the garlic could have used more heat ( I used all of mine + what my GF had left over), honestly a spice bomb add-on would do it for me. Could these little things be improved? Certainly but at the end of the day they both added to the dish and I really enjoyed my meal. They are not the reason this review sits at 4-stars. Why 4-star: I ordered the Chashu Ramen which is the tonkotsu with extra pork and priced $5 higher, this is pricey even in the city. The pork was inconsistent. My GF's 1 piece of chashu and 2 pieces of mine were cooked perfectly however 3 of mine were incredibly dry. For the price I was really expecting all pieces perfectly prepared. It came so close to being perfect. All of that out of the way though this is hands down the best ramen you can get in the area and I will be back.

Great food! Sushi was fantastic! Chicken teriyaki and ramen were also good! It's a small restaurant in a location you'd never expect for this quality of food!

My friend and I were treated to meals (by Suke at Colonial VW Subaru, after we purchased a new car) at an authentic Japanese restaurant, Musashi (武蔵)! I took the opportunity to use my Japanese language skills to order my meal as well as converse with the manager, Kiyuさん. Also, Chef Seijiさん is amazing! 美味しかった!👍🏼😍👍🏼

I used to eat here back in 2017/2018 then I had to move out of the state. I've traveled back for a visit and I'm happy to say they are as fantastic as they've always been I wish I could take their restaurant back home with me

The ramen here is the best in the area. Servers are very kind and patient with our large group. Make sure you try the soupy dumplings.

The staff was super friendly here!!! I am severely allergic to seafood, but this place had a menu that even broke it down to vegan options, and had chicken options as well!!! The food was delicious! I had the spicy teriyaki chicken and clear soup!!! With green tea ice cream for dessert! I would highly recommend this place!!

What?! I never reviewed this place?! I’ve been going here for a long time and the food is simply delicious!! Everyone I recommend this place to loves it. Keiko and her husband are the owners and are courteous and so friendly. The food tastes great, the ingredients are high quality and fresh, the servers are friendly, and the owners recognize you and treat you like family. It’s a wonderful environment! My personal favorites is a spicy salmon with mango on top, tempura sweet potato roll, jalapeño hamachi, edamame humus, miso soup, chili ramen...eh just get everything. It’s all delicious.

It was a pleasure to eat here. The staff and food is absolutely lovely. I ordered the Shojin (Vegan) Special Teishoku Set, it was delicious. I was allowed time to enjoy my food and the atmosphere of the establishment. Whenever I had questions they were answered. My server was also very respectful of my food allergies. I couldn't be more happy to find such a wonderful place, I hope to return soon.

This place is a true hidden gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is beyond friendly and polite. The food is amazing and would be perfect for a nice lunch or dinner. There are many options for anyone who may be picky. Several vegan and vegetarian options.

It's always a risk when you try a new sushi place - from the moment you step in you are greeted by the owner who is wonderful, the chefs story is incredible, he is formerly of morimoto and it shows. The sushi was the best i've had in a long time surprisingly! The fish was so fresh and you can taste the difference. I'm so glad we found you guys - I didn't think sushi could taste that great so locally. I can't wait to try the new location in June! Thanks for taking great care of us!

We just had another great dinner here. Everything is very fresh. I usually get the sushi and it is always a nice variety. I do rotate my appetizers. The stuffed spicy tuna avocado melts in your mouth and the takoyaki is another go appetizer. The authentic cuisine is worth the trip here. It is not a big restaurant so I would recommend reservations on the weekend.

Musashi has the best Japanese food in the area. Tasty and flavorful and there were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. It is a byob. I will definitely be back.

Having lived in Japan for around 15 years, it was beyond an absolute surprise for me to find authentic Japanese food so near to my home. The staff couldn't be friendlier and very clean (the way my Mom would have insisted). A definite must for all who truly love Japanese food!!!

Definitely my go-to Japanese spot in the Philly area. Service is quaint and friendly. Food is justifiably authentic. And ambiance is simple and refined with Japanese accents.

Always authentic food here. If you want to legitimately enjoy fantastic food I highly recommend giving Musashi a chance to excite your taste buds.
