Hit or miss. Today (March 2022) I opted for the “daily special” turkey panini for $10. It LITERALLY has 2 slices of turkey in it and didn’t include potato salad as posted.
We’ve gotten other food there before and it’s usually pretty good, it we have had other tiny, meh sandwiches from them about 30
The pirogies are great (note that they don’t taste exactly like traditional authentic polish pierogis, the ones from hamtramck, you know!) but they’re still good. I also recommend the Athena salad, the dressing for it tastes a little like traditional fattoush dressing - I add black beans for vegetar
Good food and lots of heart. I felt compelled to write a review. There's a bit of a diner feel but the food is honestly significantly more upscale than that might suggest. Very nice variety of foods from all of Europe. Specialize in Ukrainian food. Would recommend 👍❤️
We actually ended up here as a bit of a happy accident.
Poor customer service. I am done with this place. I ordered food for the whole office back in November. When I came in to pick it up, it was $30 more than I had calculated. I went, planning to get a Ukrainian meal, but they had a Friday special - Shrimp Po'Boy sandwich (one of my favorites!)...so I'll go back for a Ukrainian meal! The sandwich was delicious! And friendly service!
1st visit. We saw the restaurant on the local news and decided to check it on our next trip to Ferndale. Well worth it. Food and service were excellent. We even got a couple of live plants to support the Ukrainian community.
