Update: I have now eaten at this location several times. Every time the fish and french fries feel and taste like they were cooked hours before and have been sitting under a heat lamp. I used to like Captain D's very much so I wanted to get this location a chance. However every time they disappoint.
The staff have been professional and polite each time I visited.
To the owner that asked me to go to the website to fill out more information: it's not my job to do your job.
Original post: Service is always good, but the food is bad. The fish was old and chewy like it had been cooked several hours earlier.

Captian D's has been our go to place for years and have always got great fish. But this past Sat. 4-30-22 the fish was so bad we threw it away as it was some of the worst fish we had ever gotten anywhere. We will give them one more try and if the fish is still that bad we won't be back. I think they changed their fish. If they did they won't be around very long.

Love going there the food is excellent. But we drive down from Toledo just to eat there. But now you can't eat in the dining room we have not been going at all. Sorry but we do not like eating in our car. Won't be back until the dining room opens back up

Had ordered on GrubHub as they don't work with door dash. Had to pay extra for sides as they didn't have any way for me to choose my free sides with my meal. They then proceeded to not give me half my order, or the sides I had paid extra for. Get an option for free redelivery please. I'm 7 months pregnant, I don't want my money back, I want my food ðŸ˜

Typically a good place to eat, good service, and good food. Today though my fish was undercooked, only time that's ever happened to me here. Breading was soft and soggy and the fish wasn't fully cooked. It was really busy at the time so I'm guessing things got rushed.

My first experience was wowing. The guy who helped me order sounded like he enjoyed his job and was passionate about what options that had for the customer. Super courteous, not pushy. Had a huge smile when I pulled up to the window. He asked what all dipping sauces I would need and made sure I had plenty, which is a far cry from a handful of other fast food restaurants always charging for everything. You could tell he had passion for what he was doing and it was a breath of fresh air. Would definitely revisit, one of the best fast food experiences I’ve ever had!
