We've been for dinner twice this trip, both times with 7 people. The hostess seated us on the patio, with no waiting. It's far enough back from the road that the patio is quiet.
Excellent, friendly service and delicious Mexican food. Our waitress from a week prior gave me a wave, a smile and a "it's good to see you again". The pico de gallo is made in house and is fantastic (spicy, with fresh jallapenos, but I like spicy!). Last year we'd gone for breakfast and it was great also.
Great menu variety for adults and kids. Some in our group weren't into Mexican and enjoyed their burger and vegan pizza (pesto veggie pizza without the cheese).
I can only assume the person who waited 10 minutes and didn't get served seated herself, rather than being seated by the hostess, because our service on 3 separate occasions was very prompt, attentive and friendly.
Great place, great service, great food! Best margarita in Door County too. We stopped in today and had a pizza anda margarita..yumm The owner (sorry I didn't get your name) is very, very attentive and super fun...Everyone should go there. You won't be sorry!
We drive 1 1/2 hours twice a year just to eat here!! The staff is phenomenal! We always come for the Mexican side of the menu, and have never been disappointed! Great, great, dishes! And the warm cinnamon rolls are the icing on the cake.... Their margaritas are the best around in our opinion! Definitely try them out....
We had white fish tacos and they were awesome! What a great little find in Fish Creek. We will definitely be back to try breakfast. American and Mexican food menu looks great! Adding this to our list of favorites in Door County!!

Wonderful quesadillas, margaritas and to die for guacamole! We loved reading about Nino, Armando and their families in the Door County magazine!
We ate here this morning. The food and drinks were great. We also had excellent service. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Awesome!
Wish we would have found this place sooner! AMAZING margaritas... could sit on the patio all day (and we are here for breakfast )! Breakfast was beyond expectation!! Great send off after a weekend in door county... And reason all in itself to come back! Owned by friendly and gracious people. Thank you!
Always great to feel like we have come home!! Nino and family are great, food is great, and love the small town atmosphere!!
We have made this place a must for every Door County visit! Staff is always attentive and very friendly, owner is always there with a smile and the food is amazing!
Very good meal as well as very good service. It was even better when they found and safely held my wife's purse that she left behind! Extremely appreciate and definitely recommended.
Food was really good and the service was even better! Almost as good as having breakfast at home.
Service was very nice and very friendly. Cold drinks came out right away. Food was hot and delicious. Waitress was AWESOME and that makes the whole experience. We'll be back again. Thank you. 😁
My husband's burrito was huge! The food was good and the waiter was very nice. The only thing I would have changed was the green peppers in my chimichanga but it was still good. Couldn't ask for more!!
A great place for burgers and mexican food. It's a little way down from Sister Bay BUT it's not crowded at all.
Great margaritas and food. We all enjoyed our visit.
The name says grill but this is basically a Mexican restaurant. First impressions inside were that the decor could use an update. After being sat down, we were greeted by a server quickly. The menu has plenty of options for everyone. Prices are reasonable. Especially for the area. Our food was very good and the portion sizes were more than enough to fill us up. We would definitely go back.
Been visiting the Door for many many years. 1st here. Glad we finally stopped. Great authentic mexican food. The Carne Asada Street Tacos were delicious. I ask for spicy and the waiter brought 2 special sauce cups. Spicy and spicier I thing he said (covid, masks etc) just wonderful.
Would recommend.
Wonderful food -- we had veggie fajitas and enchilada platter, and the flavors and quality were fantastic. Second day we had breakfast there as well, and things were equally good. Cost-wise, I think the veggie fajitas were a bit overpriced while the enchiladas were a much better price for the dish. Breakfast was also pricey, but I wouldn't consider it outrageous. Staff was incredibly nice, and attentive, but occasionally absent-minded: at both dinner and breakfast, something got forgotten. At dinner, I could never successfully get a cup of coffee with my dessert. At breakfast, it was jelly for my toast. The house sangria was very smooth and enjoyable. Dessert was a cheese cake chimichanga. Very good, but VERY cold in the very center...I'm not sure if that was intentional (since it is a deep-fried treat), or under-done (that is, oil too hot, cooked too quickly). But it was yummy. Dinner for 2 adults and 2 kids, with one dessert and one alcoholic drink -- and note, two orders were the veggie fajitas -- we were about $80 after a slightly-more-than-20% tip. Overall, we absolutely recommend it for any meal!
The owner was super nice! My family got carry out tonight and the food was amazing. I got the steak fajita wrap and it was absolutely delicious. The burgers are also VERY good. The prices are very reasonable. My family will definitely be getting food from here again sometime. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
I was skeptical about coming here for breakfast but my fiance really wanted to try it. Our server was fantastic and very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back on our next trip to door county! Highly suggest breakfast burrito with homemade potatos and giant cinnamon roll!!!! This place is amazing!
All the food we ordered was delicious. My enchiladas could have been slightly warmer. Since we were a larger group they probably tried to get all the food out at the same time. So it makes sense. Service was stellar our waiter was very personable.
Very friendly, surprisingly good. The skinny margaritas were better than expected. They carry a long list of Tequilas, nice job. Salas was very yummy. Are dishes were really good. Will definitely do again!
It was a fun weekend. But it was time to go home. Looking for a quick stop for breakfast on the way home. Did we ever pick a winner!!
The food was fantastic. A mix of American and Mexican. Both sides of the border were oh so good.
Better than the food was the service. Nino was serving us. If he wasn't the owner, he sure acted like one. It has been a LOOOOONG time since I had service as good as his.
The only bad part about visiting Fish Creek Grill is that they are five hours away from my house. I sure wish they had a location in the Twin Cities.
Thanks for a great meal! If we come back to Door County, we are sure to stop.
The food and service was exceptional! We went on a Sunday afternoon around 3:00 with a large group and sat on the patio. Everything was very delicious. A great mix of authentic Mexican and American selections. Would highly recommend and will come back.
Our family enjoyed a very tasty breakfast. I especially recommend the Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo. Not to fancy but delicious. Thank you Nino, we all appreciated your energetic service and positive attitude!
