Food is good however I got my beef overcooked(personal preference) for my pad see ew. Everything else I enjoyed. Other items ordered however no photos: Chicken Pad See Ew, kids liked it. x2 Golden Tofu and Veggie Spring Rolls. Rest of the order: Pad see ew beef, pad see ew tofu, x2 mango sticky rice, x2 Boba drinks, x4 various sushi rolls, all good tasting! Their house made dipping sauces pairs well with their dishes. Total bill $101 (reasonable for the quality and standard). Cannot wait to taste their sashimi next time. My actual rating is 4.7 🌟 stars
The curry was amazing. I like how you can adjust the heat level to your liking. The hot was about perfect for me, but I want to try the extra hot next time just to see.
My favorite restaurant in Indy. I have probably ordered at least half the menu over time and have never been disappointed.
High quality food and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend this place, you will not regret going here!
The food is good and standard for price and I love the proximity to my house. But, this review is about the customer service cuz good standard food close to home is easy enough to find. (Though- to say, I do prefer the sushi rolls to the Thai food).
Here is why Star gets an enthusiastic 5 stars- we ordered take out and when we got home we realized they missed one of our nigiri. We were bummed but we had also over-ordered anyway so no biggie. As we were sitting down to eat my phone rang. It was Star Sushi and Thai calling to say they forgot part of our order and would happy to have someone deliver it to us. We declined because it was no big deal and we had plenty of food- but what amazing customer service!! I’ve had many take out orders incorrect but I have never had the restaurant call to make it right! It’s that kind of attention to detail that turns me into a loyal customer!
This sushi is absolutely incredible! After moving from
Chicago and having so many amazing and authentic sushi (and food) options there, it was such a disappointment to come to Indy where every restaurant is a hit or miss, but this place takes me back to the good ol’ food festival days of Chicago and never disappoints! I’ve also never had to wait more than 15 minutes for mine, it’s always been fast and warm when I arrive to pick it up.
Best sushi and excellent service, worth the drive up to the suburbs for a real treat in quality food. My parents live on this side of town and it is my trusted take-away when visiting, as it offers supreme Thai food and excellent vegetarian maki, which is so hard to find if you know what I mean. Definitely expedient, yet careful and helpful; it is a great place to dine-in, offering tasteful staples like Asahi and jasmine tea. The green curry and tom kha are also some superb digs. Five stars.
Great spot for takeout. Ambiance for dine in isn’t too great, but this place focuses on the food first and foremost. Their sushi quality is some of the best sushi I have had in Indiana. Their sushi chef is very precise and takes his job very seriously. The result is very well done and delicious sushi. I recommend their spicy tuna hand roll. Their salad has great ginger dressing. Staff is great. Calamari is weird and I would not recommend it. Just plain and simple, eat their sushi, you won’t regret it.
I ordered takeout appetizers for a party I attended and they were a big hit! The service was very friendly. I was impressed that when I got there to pick up my order she told me just a minute. She wasn't pleased with the crab rangoon - she said they were over and made a new batch. She offered me both (and both were eaten!). This was my first time at Star Sushi and Thai and I will definitely bring my family here to eat.
We just finished our takeout from Star Sushi and it was so delicious that I am now writing this review. It has a very friendly atmosphere, I was greeted with a smile and ‘hello’ when I went in to pick up my food. We had a variety of 4 rolls and they were all fresh and tasty, and had great presentation. We live nearby and will definitely go back for more, thank you!
Fantastic Thai restaurant! Everything we’ve had is great. Its been one of our favorite places since we tried it for the first time a couple months ago. Cashew Nut Chicken is my top pick.
Take out experience was excellent. Food was great too. We ordered crispy spring rolls, Pad See Ewe, Red Curry and Veggie Fried Rice. They were all fantastic. I highly recommend this Thai restaurant. Trying to support local places during this crisis.
Best Thai food in Geist/Fishers. Pad Thai and Curry were so delicious. Avoid beef though, not very tender.
Pineapple fried rice had very good flavor. Would definitely go back.
We have ordered sushi from several places in the area and this is, by far, our favorite. Innovative and delicious. The Bonsai, Las Vegas, and Signature Rolls are my favorites. And the staff are friendly and attentive. You won’t be disappointed.
Small and cozy restaurant. Wonderful, attentive staff and delicious sushi rolls. This place does to-go orders as well as dine-in (according to current safety protocols). If you're in the area and in the mood for Thai and Sushi, this place will not dissapoint. ❤
How did we get to this restaurant in Bangkok?! Ok... Its here on the Indy/ Fishers border of E.96th St.!!! We didnt need a plane ticket!

Everything was Soooo good!!! The Jimbo maki sushi was amazing and fresh. The red curry was really good. Crab Rangoon and Pad See Ewe were delicious. I highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant. ❤️❤️❤️
