We love this place. When you arrive you are guided to a parking spot by someone on horseback (and our kids always love getting a photo op with them before we enter the restaurant). The interior has a cool western vibe with a stuffed bear at the hostess stand, a saddle you can sit on and get some great photos, and various animals adorning the walls, elk heads, a mountain lion above the salad bar, etc. Definitely touristy but that’s what I love about it The beer selection is great (they have a local flagstaff, AZ beer Tower Station on tap that is awesome) and the food has always been good. The steaks are well cooked to the temperature you ask for, good solid side choices, and the salad bar is really good. Definitely a great place to take an out of towner, or, if you are local, a fun place to visit

Thank you to the staff at Horsemen Lodge! The Rotary Club of Flagstaff had a great dinner last night filled with great food and service. Thank you Rebecca Wallace for a great evening. It was so good that the club is going to make this an annual dinner at Horsemen's From all of us at the Rotary Club of Flagstaff.

Came here for the 1st. time on my Birthday, with good friends who were also 1st. timers. The service was excellent, and the meal was incredible! We all agreed that the steaks we had were the best we have ever eaten! Bravo, Horsemen Lodge. We WILL be back!!!!!

First off, I love the western theme and wildlife mounts. Service was outstanding.Bethany provided great service, offered good advice and helped my wife with special diet. Paul checked on us but did not bother us. All were very respective and kind to my service dog. Last and I guess the most important was the food. Very tender filet mignon. Huge chunks of crab in crab cake. Sides were delicious.
Will go back again.

Horsemen's Lodge is a rustic, cabin style restaurant on the outskirts of the city of Flagstaff. If you are a fan of big portions, affordable prices, and a woodsy Western style setting, than you will probably love Horsemen's Lodge. Before visiting this restaurant, I emailed the owner regarding gluten and dairy free options. Despite being told that I should go elsewhere because they had no options to suit my diet, I was able to find and enjoy a great breakfast that was both gluten and dairy free!

Fun place with big menu and excellent service. We had dinner which included Pecan Smoked Half-Rack Baby Back Ribs (lots of very tasty meat, however a little bit dry) and Smoked Prime Rib Dip (delicious and tender with lots of meat. Get it with diced green chilies & pepper jack cheese!) Our sides included Button Cabernet Mushrooms (delicious!) and Creamed Spinach (too heavy on cream, not enough spinach). The Soup & Salad Bar had lots of great veggie selections, beef soup was good (but a bit on the salty side).

We went back 3 days in a row.The soup and salad bar was great. The the items were unique. Staff was friendly and our dinners were great. Had the beef ribs and the mac and cheese the first night, Elk chops the second, and Bison tenderloin the 3rd. Different soup every day. The nicest thing about their restaurant is that they have unique items on their menu. They can be expensive if your on a budget like my wife and I were however if you split the entree you can upgrade to a second soup and salad bar for a few dollars more. This way we were able to enjoy the more expensive meals together and still leave with a full stomach. Next time we are in Arizona we will definitely be back.

Our server was super friendly and outgoing. I loved the decorations and lighting. The restaurant had a very, very homey country feel. We had the ribeye and the new York strip. It was cooked perfectly and the butter flavor we choose was really good. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because steak was my 3rd choice of what I wanted from the menu. They ran out of the first two and it was only 2pm. Regardless, I was very happy with my steak at the end of the day!

Loved this little hometown steak house! Ended up here when the Arizona steakhouse at the Grand canyon didn't have steak available at lunch, this was just out of the way on my return to the hotel. The place looks straight out of a movie. Interesting decor, stuffed bear, cougar, and others. All wood walls and interior accents. Tribal table clothes. I had the sirloin with blackened peppercorn coating, and some amazing yet simple "cowboy beans" which tasted to me like some homemade spicy bbq. Also had the horseman's punch and was pleasantly pleased! Very simple presentation of the food gave it a late 1800- early 1900's look. Would recommend you give this place a try!!

It's easy to spend an extra night in Flagstaff when this restaurant is sooo good! So, I call the morning before Easter to confirm they're open from Phoenix... we get up there at dinner time... and walk in, and again, I understand why I love this restaurant. Tens of thousands of dollars in western art, western figurines as you walk in... nicely appointed stuffed bear, mountain lion and various antlers are hung... beautiful knotty pine tongue and groove and incredible chandeliers, with the fan right inside - awesome - every time I'm here, I just love it! Ok, get seated, by myself this time, and are welcomed by another smiling face, her name, Jaime - western attired, very nice smile and every question I ask, she's on top of it... tomato bisque soup, which I'm not really a fan of. So, I order this mushroom, Swiss and avocado burger... and start with some bread and sweet butter - the butter isn't too sweet, but very nice. Then I go to the salad and soup bar, and am taken back - there are several creations along the back which are soooo good and tasty. And the Tomato Bisque... which I'm not really into...IT IS AMAZING... chunks down in it, and really good! Pretty soon, my burger arrives and I am wow'ed again - not the normal one or two slices of avocado, but, FOUR slices... and heaped with mushrooms - I am delighted... still finishing my soup, and order more bread - at the same time, I'm reading about some person who spent $40 on a buffalo burger... thinking to myself, I might pay forty bucks for all this - thankfully, all of it was under twenty! So, I'm knee deep in my burger... and we're in the restaurant and ranching business 650 miles to the north and along comes Jaime... all smiles again...WOW, I love this place!!! So, I get done, am ready to float away, and start to be concerned about how much time I'm taking, as all the tables are full... and it never comes... just Jaime, all smiles, checking on me. Finally, I use the facilities, and see very nice in there too!... All in all, each time I'm here, whether alone, or with the family unit, I have a great time... and each time, I think, yep, time to grab a room and come in for breakfast the next morning, before going back to Colorado - you guys, Awesome, just incredible - every time!!!

Can't go wrong here. Ribs are the best. The smoked salmon is killer. Very historic and the food smells great and taste even better. A must to dine here; breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Fabulous establishment! Stopped here for dinner on our drive back towards Pheonix after a 6day adventure in the Grand Canyon. We were greeted by employees on their horses, who guided us to a parking spot. The soup and salad bar was delicious with a wide variety of toppings much more than your basic salad bar! Soups available were shrimp bisque and sweet potatoe with ham- both unique and tasty. The steak was cooked to perfection and employees were warm and welcoming to ensure we had the best experience. Highly recommended whether you're new to the area or just driving through like we were!
