This place is our favorite in Florence! The food is amazing, and the service is even better. Em is awesome, she is so friendly, accommodating, and though we don't eat out very often, she always remembers us! I came here when I was pregnant, we went for Valentines Day, and any time we want to have a special meal out. We ate there today with my 10 month old daughter, and Em brought her a little cup of rice to munch on. Then halfway through the meal, she carried my little girl around the restaurant, talking to customers and working the cash register so my husband and I could eat together. My baby LOVES her! Anyways, we love the food, love the people, and will always come back to this place whenever we want a nice night out. Don't miss out on this gem!

I'd drive all the way from Eugene just to have the #79 spicy eggplant for lunch. So many choices and all of them very good. Friendly staff too. One of my favorites.
I personally think they have the absolute best fried rice out here. Also the soup and chicken satay were out of this world to. I recommend this to everyone.
One of our favorite places for lunch and dinner. Great Pad Thai and curries! Lots of veggie dishes, noodles, brown or white rice. Every dish is prepared to order and fresh. Yummy, love all the fresh veggies.

Amazing food! I ordered pad thai and love spicy food, the spiciest I could get was perfect! Tried the black rice pudding out of curiosity and was surprisingly delious with it's tiuch of coconut milk!
Great food! The restaurant is very cozy. I ordered the pad Thai and was pleasantly surprised! Everything was perfectly cooked and it wasn't overly smothered in sauce (which is something I have come across at other Thai restaurants). All in all it was a great eating experience. I will definitely be dining here again.

Enter the Curry. I’m not sure what demographic the word “Best” covers, but this place certainly has the best Thai in Florence. After reading the reviews for this establishment I knew I had to check it out. First of all, I found the restaurant VERY cozy. Best Thai has several tables, outdoor seating, and high backed booths that can sit 3-4 people per side (way cool). The menu is pretty good sized and covers many of the items you would expect to find in a Thai restaurant. However, two items stood out to me as “unique”; the Beef red curry in peanut sauce and the West-side Wontons. I ordered both (the wontons are an appetizer) and sat sipping my thai iced tea in anticipation for 15 minutes or so. The Wontons arrived first, each wonton was stuffed with a mash of sweet potato and carrots and was served with a sweet chili dipping sauce. When the curry arrived I knew i was in for a real treat. The Beef, Red curry with peanut sauce, bamboo shoots, carrots, broccoli, bell pepper and Thai basil literally danced on my tongue. Each ingredient stood out and was not overpowered by the curry. It is also worthy to note that the thai iced tea that I was drinking was bottomless for only two bucks! Based on this experience, I will most definitely be back to Best Thai. If you are in Florence, Give Em’ A Taste!

Som Tum Thai: Green Papaya Salad... I asked for Thai Hot...it wasn't but it still was very good.
Yam Nua: Meat Salad...excellent flavor...lots of seasoned lightly cooked beef with some tomatoes and cucumber.
Condiment:
Prik Nam Pla: (diluted fish sauce with sliced green thai chilis--used to salt and spice up the food)--This restaurant had a very good fresh version of this standard Thai condiment...I had to ask for it as it is not standard on 95% of USA Thai restaurant tables...In Thailand, a table is not seen without it.
I should have gotten rice on the side...I forgot and I wasn't asked.
Also no Chang beer, only the very commercial Singha.
Very Large portions with fresh ingredients. I ordered two salads...ate until full, took the rest and have had two more meals with the leftovers.
Having lived in Northern Thailand for 18 months I am hesitant to try any Thai Restaurant in USA since many fall short of giving me REAL AUTHENTIC Thai Food.
Best Thai Cuisine pleased me with these two dishes.
I will not even try a Thai Restaurant that does not serve Som Tum Thai (Green Papaya Salad) as it tells me--This place makes food only for USA, not real Thai Food.
Added benefit for me: I was able to practice my quickly disappearing Thai vocabulary with the waiter.
Another indicator for me: if the wait staff in a Thai Restaurant does not know even my rudimentary Thai vocabulary---I will not stay.
I really enjoyed my meal at Best Thai...I hope you do as well.

Just like its name - Best Thai!. I have so many favorites it's hard to decide! Mmmm....mango curry with chicken, spicy green beans with beef, seafood curry. I'm hungry now! You can't go wrong with the drunken noodles, either! Yum!
Quality Food. Have been to the restaurant 2 times now. First time was to meet them as I was preparing to put the website together. They have many fresh meals to choose from. Lives up to the namesake of the restaurant, it is indeed (one of) the best Thai restaurants I have been to. Crab Fried Rice is a must try - great value with generous chunks of dungeness crab meat. Service was decent as well. Give this place a try when you are travelling along the Oregon Coast.
Florence is our break from our Portland home and let me tell you this place is far better than most Thai restaurants there. The service is relaxed as it should be and the food speaks for itself. Last time I got the crab fried rice which was phenomenal and the flavor of fresh crab was in every bite. The dumplings were some of the best I’ve had in Oregon. We got the special basil chicken which I had to get a second order to take home for leftovers later. Try this place and you won’t be disappointed. Just don’t be in a hurry and relax.

The crab wonton is good as were the steamed dumplings. The Pad Thai was good just not as spicy as I would have thought from a medium spice level. There was no spice to it at all.
Amazing food that was prepared perfectly! some what expensive but you can't find a better Thai place anywhere near by. I'd recommend this for a date night with the wife. Seafood is the best!
The only good Thai restaurant in Florence that we could find. We were visiting Florence for the sand dunes (must try the san dunes buggy ride for $35) and decided to have some Thai food after our buggy ride. This was the only Thai restaurant that popped up on google maps near by. Ordered the egg rolls, mango curry and crab fried rice. Egg rolls were freshly made, hot and crispy. Mango curry and fried rice were really good too. Nice big portions. Our server was very kind and sweet, though the place was busy, she didn't rush with our order, gave us time and was very friendly! Love to order when the service is good! The place seemed bustling with dine in and take out orders (always a good sign).
Wow I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did (cleaned the plates). They have a variety of curry that comes with rice. I also liked their pad thai noodles which was somewhat sweet. Ask for mild if you can't handle the spiciness (like me). I feel like the restaurant could use another person to handle serving/register from how busy it got (maybe).
Lots of seafood options. I had the ginger salmon and it was great! All the veggies were cooked well and the ginger seasoning was tasty.

My husband and I can’t wait for Best Thai to reopen! We miss going there regularly. Their food is amazing and the is staff very friendly. Sure hope they get their repairs completed SOON!
