The Crab Chowder Bread Bowl is to die for!! Definitely going back and getting some to take home too!! Best hole in the wall seafood place I have ever been to. Insanely friendly service to boot!
We absolutely loved the crab chowder and garlic bread. Best ever! And charming little location right on the dock. Perfect place to stop for a fresh delicious treat in Florence. Hope we get to come again soon :-)

Wow! Amazing delicious chowder! Award winning too!!!! Worth the walk down to the doc. They have some seating to enjoy, think of it as a floating food truck style dining. Or you can walk on the docks while you enjoy your yummy soup.
Also if you want Live crab be a gourmet chef at home - you can! And you can pick which one you want. They also have cooked frozen if you want to make your life easier. I’ve done this several times and alway 100% amazing!
They are family run, amazing people and market fair/better prices.
Also they are on the 2nd Saturday Gallery Tour Supporting local arts too!

Amazing family owned and ran. They treat you like family, fresh caught crab and tuna. Cooked and served on the dock with a smile and cheeky sense of humor. Daughter is beautiful and great smile at the counter. Crab chowder!!!!!

Delicious crab chowder and garlic bread. I'm not sure what they put on the bread but it is so good! My most recent visit was better than some because there was outdoor seating available. In the past there were a few stools along the outside of the shop but if those were taken, you had to go find a place to sit and eat somewhere else. The addition of the floating seating area makes a big difference in the atmosphere and draw to go there for a meal! The people behind the counter are always cheerful and personable. There was a young girl helping deliver food out to the table and she was just a sweetie! Lovely family run operation and very worth taking the time to stop and enjoy a meal.

Bare bones kind of place but it was perfect! I loved sitting on the boat next to the ocean while eating the freshest crab I’ve ever consumed. 10/10 experience. Get the chowder and garlic bread too!!
Always stop in when I’m in the area. They have the best crab chowder. And mom’s garlic bread is always good too.
This place is a perfect little spot, on the dock and specializes in crab chowder and crab legs. All the positive reviews don’t do this place justice though, it’s far better than five stars! It’s the best chowder in the area and rivals some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend if your in Florence. Come early though as they tend to sell out from what I hear.
was pleasantly surprised at how good it was!! the staff was very sweet and quick, despite it being pretty warm outside. the crab chowder was really yummy and flavorful and the crab was great! gonna be recommending this place to anyone going through florence for sure.

Ah this is the best crab I have had on Oregon coast. Although I have a habit of eating crabs cooked in spices, this crab cooked in just water and salt was just amazing. There was so much meat in it that I was full after eating half a crab, half garlic bread, small crab chowder and a white claw. The crab chowder was also very tasty. Must visit this place if you are a crab lover.

Today, we went to Novelli's to get some Crab Chowder, and BOY did it pay off. The Crab Chowder was hot and delicious with a moderate amount of crab as well as potato. We got the Mom's Garlic Bread, and it was perfectly seasoned, so much I had to go order some more. Overall, 5 stars would be recommended.
Great, great, great place to have lunch. My son and I each got a Dungeness crab. Definitely could have split it. They cooked them live that morning. Ps. It is served cold, but that was ok. Still really good. I also had to try the crab chowder and it was good too. We saw a seal in the river fishing for food.
