My wife and I recently moved to Florence from IN. Our coworkers introduced us to this amazing family restaurant; we eat here every Wednesday. They have great daily specials, great prices, and wonderful customer service. The family that owns the place is so warm and inviting. If you haven't tried turkey and dressing on Wednesdays, I promise you are missing out. Club sandwich is also to die for! Free tea with any lunch and watermelon for dessert, along with a great atmosphere, make this place a must-try!

The best breakfast in town by far!! I've been going there for over 20 years and I always recommend to everyone I meet to give it a try.

They have great food and great service. They have southern home cooked food and fast food such as burgers and sandwiches. They have been around forever because of the home town feeling and great food. Their waitress Michelle has been with them for yrs. We all love her . She makes you feel right at home and makes sure everything is to your liking. She is a joy to be around.

This is my first time eating here and it was great breakfast and service and prices. Being an Army retiree like myself I loved how they promote Military awareness. Listening to all these Veterans talk makes me feel like being around family. I will return.

We go here for breakfast all the time. This place has a down home feel. The same people have worked there for years. When you walk in you’re family. Nothing special about the exterior or interior but the food is great. We normally have the same wonderful server, Michelle. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been since we visited, she still knows us by name and knows what we want. You don’t find many places like that now days.

Lamplighter oh I love going there. I work with the local Health Care Agency so sometimes I'll just call The Lamplighter get a take out of BLT on toast with extra bacon just hits the spot. Go there for lunch usually every other Friday which one of the folks I work with they've got the best liver and onions you can cut it with a fork. The service is excellent no no gripes about the price and the portions are always very sufficient. And it's a good place to just sit and meet some locals.

The food has flavor. No salt, ketchup or steak sauce needed. It's extremely affordable and they treat you like family. Like the family you actually want to see.

This is a great little restaurant that probably gets underestimated because of location. I would have never visited if someone didn't drag me there but I am glad I did. The food was amazing and the prices are very affordable.
