Jo's Diner - Flowood - Photo album

I had the seafood omelette. It was amazing. Big chunks of seafood and whole shrimps. Perfectly cooked. The biscuit was obviously freshly made. So soft, warm and flaky. Wonderful service as well. New favorite diner. We will be back.
Loved the chicken pecan salad! Conner was a great server and very conversational as we were there during a tornado warning and they were not very busy.
The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I had the chicken and waffles, bananas foster. It was so thick that I could chew the sugar. We also had a picture of mimosa which came hot and took a while. The omelets were okay and the grits for the shrimp and grits were runny. My daughter had
Cajun Eggs Benedict was legit. Eggs were overcooked though. Besides that it was an enjoyable experience. Service was great.
When we walked in, the place was empty. The decor was mediocre and the waitress wasn't the most knowledgeable. Surprisingly good food.

Good options for a brunch / lunch menu. Place has a retro cool look with fair prices and bar. Photos of menu and smoked salmon benedict with a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo.
A great diner, most impressed with the service by Tyler who worked hard with a smile and always there when needed. The crawfish rolls were unusual and very good, shrimp poboy also excellent. Southern Breakfast my wife had was good, the grits were not to her taste tho. Definitely recommended.
