One of our favorite Chinese food establishments in the metro area. Hot & Sour soup is some of the best I have ever had and all of their dishes are very good. Portions are generous and the service is good too.
Without Golden China there would be no reason to visit this part of Flowood. The food is always great, it always comes out freshly prepared, and tastes better than any of the other Americanized Chinese restaurants in town. The Moo Shu Pork is excellent. The Hot and Sour soup is the best I have ever had. If you want fast food style Chinese food than this is not the place for you. Everything I have ever eaten from here has been delicious. The dumplings are great. The BBQ pork is amazing. Garlic Chicken is also one of our favorites, but really you could pick anything on their considerable menu and it will be good.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Flowood. The lunch buffet is always good and reasonably priced.
My wife & I have been 5 times. Always the same, always good.
Great!. My family have enjoyed this restaurant for many years, both dine in and takeout. We have found both the food and service to be consistently very good!
Great Food, Great Price. I'm a frequent patron of this establishment and can honestly say I've never been disappointed. The food is always good and there is always enough left over for another meal. I particularly like their General Tso's Chicken and the Tong-Cho Chicken/Pork. I've read some of the reviews talking about negative service. The girls who work there know who I am and immediately know which order is mine. I always get take-out, so I can't vouch for their dine-in service. Perhaps it's a different experience.
Good Food. I love this restaurant's food! I really hate the service. The servers are young and clearly more interested in their personal gossip chat sessions than working. But for take out - Perfect!
Love the sesame chicken, garlic chicken, the hot and sour soup!
Best Egg rolls. The egg rolls are huge and tasty. Sweet and sour chick is actually real meat and not that over processed premade stuff that you get at some of the other Chinese restaurants.
The BEST shrimp egg rolls I've ever had and also the largest. Small order of just about anything is enough for 2 and prices are awesome!! LOVE IT!!

Golden China is a staple for my bots and me ... So much good food for a great price ... Dine in or take out, service is always great and the food fresh. Love it!!
My immediate family, and our extended family, love Chinese food, but have always been picky in where we eat it. For us, Golden China is the best we’ve found in the area!! We’ve been frequent customers for many years, and they are still our favorite Chinese restaurant, even though I now drive for nearly 30 minutes to eat here. This is a small family run and authentic Chinese restaurant with very few employees (since the pandemic began). Due to their limited size, I do call ahead a little further in advance than we used to so that we don’t have to wait long upon arrival, but the food quality, portion sizes, and prices are well worth giving them a little extra time for prep! If you’ve never tried Golden China, this is a great local restaurant worth checking out!!
Food was amazing! I placed a pick up order and I was very surprised by the amount of food I got for my money and the quality was amazing. Best Chinese food I've had for a long time. Everything had its own distinct flavor and the meal as a whole went together really well and was very satisfying. My favorite was the chicken wings and the little wonton crisps, but it was all very tasty! Amazing food for amazing prices, try this place and you won't regret it! :)

Went to this place about once a week for at least 10 years or so. Got buffet and take-out. 95 percent of the time it was excellent. That's a great rate of success because I do not expect absolute perfection from anywhere. They have the best egg rolls in town and the buffet is very reasonably priced with high quality stuff. Definitely recommend.
Always the best pork fried rice in town. The vegetable egg rolls are just right. I've been eating here for well over a decade and I have never had a bad meal. The servers are always friendly. This is my go to Chinese restaurant whether dining in or taking out. Prices are reasonable, too.
