After church service today I wandered over to the Hog Heaven BBQ food truck and ordered a rib plate! To sum up my experience in one word I'd use AMAZING. My sides were baked beans and potato salad.....DELICIOUS. The guy preparing the plate.....SO NICE AND PLEASANT. If it wasn't the last church service I would have come back and given him a high five! 5⭐️'s
The jambalaya is AWESOME!! Love it when I see that truck on Friday night on Main Street in Mendenhall !!

Nice take on BBQ. Pleasantly surprised by how good the ribs were. Haven't had anything other than the ribs but for me, if the ribs are right everything else follows nicely.
Everything I've have has been tip top. Wings and whole chickens are probably the best in town. But you better not leave there without picking up a lb or two of the real deal pitmasters pulled pork. Always taste like it was just smoked and pulled because it was just smoked and pulled.
Yummy. This place surprised me. I was told bye my friend that this little gas station had the best BBQ. So I brought their pulled pork to a birthday party for my mother in law. It was a hit. Everybody loved it. And the potato salad was great.

Great BBQ !. Great BBQ from an owner who knows BBQ. Carry out only, the way BBQ was meant to be. No frills. Owner told me he calls it a BBQ place with a gas station attatched. Do not let the place fool you, it is the best. You can tell this guys loes BBQ, and wants to pass the passion on. I had the ribs and sausage, took it home, delicious. Try the dry rub too! A bit hard to find location. Tiny sign, but this is good stuff. If you need a "dine in " swanky, overpriced BBQ chain, this is not it.
Best BBQ Ribs in Town!!. Originally from St. Louis, the owners serve the best ribs in town. Tender with a slight pull off the bone goodness. Sauce to die for! This is the official BBQ in my company. Go elsewhere and make a mistake. Hog Heaven! Hog Heaven! Hog Heaven !!!

The ribs are really good but this business excels in the smoked chicken. I go out of my way to get one anytime I am in the area on a weekday.
Staff was friendly. I ordered the BBQ Beef sandwich, as this is one of the very few BBQ places left that still serves "pulled/chopped beef". Most places that offer BBQ beef generally serve it a la "sliced brisket". Which is the easy way to do it. "Pulled" or "Chopped" BBQ beef takes longer to prepare, but the texture is much better IMHO than sliced brisket, and so is the flavor. The meat itself I give an A+. The bun unfortunately was flat and nothing to write home about, C-. The BBQ sauce was flavorful, robust, thick and a bit tomatoey. Not really sweet at all though, which surprised me because most thick BBQ sauces are quite sweet. A little tangy, and smoky. All around I'd say it was a pretty good sauce, a solid B+. I didn't get any sides, so I can't rate those. Will try next time.
This is the best place around to get ribs. And their potato salad is a-ma-zing. I have never had potato salad this good. They are very friendly and their portions are generous. We go there so much I'm pretty sure they know us by now.....my husband and I even have their tshirts....even though I have a big stain on mine from eating so many ribs.
Give them a try...you won't be sorry! This is an excellent place to go.
While on an overnight stay in Flowood, we found this place near the hotel. It's a convenience store with a BBQ section where you can get orders of fresh cooked BBQ and sides to go. It was GREAT. Very good ribs, very decent price. The owner was friendly and courteous. If I'm ever in that area again I will make it a point to visit this place again.
I go there every other Monday for 3 or 4 turkey legs they are very good and so is the price
