Love the food the staff is very attentive like you are the only one there. Fabio WOW great waiter. We are lucky we only live a few blocks from the place.
The food was beautiful and delicious. We had the mussels, strip steak and the carbonara and then the exquisite tiramisu. The staff was attentive and wonderful. Thanks for the delicious meal!
We had breakfast there (we stayed in the hotel). The food was great and the service was outstanding. Barbara took great care of us. We will definitely be coming back.
Homemade fettuccine was perfection. Rich meat sauce so satisfying. Tiramisu probably the best I've ever had. Wonderful staff. I will be back soon.
This is a wonderful hidden gem! Food was outstanding, service was wonderful!
Toda la comida es deliciosa me encanto. Lo recomiendo.

worth the trip from Brooklyn ... Magna is a great restaurant with a fantastic choice of Italian dishes ... Fabio is a great host and Jean is a great manager, BRAVI!!
Amazing Restaurant. Fantastic food and staff. Fabio and Jean 2 thumbs up. Live 20 miles away. Wish it was closer to my house. We go when ever we get a chance.
beautiful Italian restaurant with authentic Italian food and Italian service
This place had such an amazing vibe for dine in. They had breakfast buffet for $21. We did the menu and the oatmeal and french toast were too good. The staff was very friendly!
As others have mentioned, the menu is limited. There are very few options for vegetarians, but they do have vegan cheese for pizza. We had a margarita pizza, and the crust was charred on half of the pizza to a point where you could not eat it.
The service was great, and the ambiance was welcoming g.
This is a very talked away quiet Italian restaurant in a hotel in Flushing. The menu here is limited but the food is great and it’s great value. Lunch is $11.99 And includes various soups and salads with your entrée, and the entrée includes options like chicken or egg plant Parmesan, different types of pastas, and hamburgers. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is nice. It’s a very quiet restaurant. Highly recommended for a quiet lunch spot.
Local Italian restaurant that delivered more than expected. Food was good and fast at reasonable portion and prices. Service was lovely and attentive. Must try the calamari - it’s crispy and not too chewy. Pasta was fresh. Well worth a visit.
I went with my friends and I to Magna for a little birthday lunch and it was pretty darn good! Tucked away in Flushing where you can mostly only find Chinese, Korean or Japanese cuisine, it's refreshing to see an Italian restaurant not too far from downtown Flushing. We got there around noon on a Sunday and the place was empty. We quickly ordered and while it took a while for the food to arrive, it was well worth the wait. There are enough vegetarian options for anyone in you're party and they also have a lunch special (3 courses - appetizer, entree and dessert). The entree portion sizes are huge and the only issue we all had with food itself was that the pasta sause was really sweet. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert and it that to was delicious! All in all, if you're looking for Italian food in Flushing, definitely check out this place!
I'm in the bridal party for my friend's upcoming wedding and we decided to host her bridal shower at Magna. Originally, they promised us the back nook, so that it was semi private. It didn't work out and they gave us a large table on the side, which worked out. They pretty much let us use half the restaurant, set up a separate table for us to place the cake/cupcakes/guestbook (note - $3 plating fee per person if you bring your own cake), and even helped us hang our decorations (shout out to Fabio!) We decided to order a few dishes and serve it family style. Everything was great. This is what we had:
Caesar Salad (romaine lettuce, croutons, reggiano cheese with classic Caesar dressing)
Calamari Fritti (crisp fried calamari with garlic marinara sauce) - perfectly fried
Sfizi all'Italiana (freshly sliced prosciutto, mortadella, capicola, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, provolone, roasted peppers) - my only complaint was that there was no prosciutto (like the menu had described), but overall not bad.
Rigatoni alla Vodka (rigatoni pasta in pink vodka sauce) - this was my fave. I love a good pasta a la vodka.
Spaghetti alla Carbonara (spaghetti with italian bacon, parmesan, and poached eggs) - this was pretty good too but also a bit heavy
Risotto ai Frutti di Mare (risotto served with clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp) - they gave a good amount of seafood
Pollo alla parmigiana (breaded chicken breast topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella) - chicken was cooked perfectly
For drinks, we had asked about bringing our own bottles of wine but then they wanted to charge us a ridiculous corkage fee of $35 per bottle. We ended up just ordering four bottles of wine (for 14 people) for the table, which was the perfect amount. It was also cheaper than paying the corkage fee.
Overall, it was a nice space for a bridal shower (also because no one was really there while our party was going on). However, I'd only recommend it if you have a small group. The restaurant isn't that big.
Fabio was great.. Thanks Fabio for making our first visit memorable. Food excellent. Can't say enough about this true hidden gem. Pasta is home made. They had this fresh made tri- colored spaghetti. The desserts were generous. As well, the meals size was generous. Shrimp very fresh.
We had a 4 hour NYC layover we took cab (no train from la guardia). Went to the only Italian restaurante in China Town, Magna. It was a great find. Our waiter Fabio was truly Itslian. He was from the lake como and Cicely area. The whole family seemed to be at the restaurant tonight. Food qas great. We had Vitello alla Bolognese, Veal scaloppini with prosciutto and fontina cheese served in a white wine sauce and a special includomg chicken stuffes with mushrooma and fontina with a marsala sauce. We had to.get the chocolate torte with some vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries.
Delicious, quiet, polite and fast service. Always had fresh cold water, refilled bread and had check on the table fast! Definitely reccomend for anyone seeking tasty, fresh Italian with great specials.
I had a wonderful experience! Ambience was great, the food was fantastic and the staff was friendly and efficient! I was just stopping through but would definitely recommend this restaurant!
It's a bit out of the way in Flushing, but man the quality is well above my expectations!
Certainly a bit more expensive than the 2 dollar fried rice right in the heart of Flushing, but if you're in the mood for some proper al dente pasta with great tasting ingredients, this is the place to be.
Honestly I frequent a joint in Little Italy, and the quality of food here blows that place out of the water.
I'll be coming here more often now I know the parking situation.
Fantastic first meal for my family in Queens. The staff is kind and has great energy, and the food was all delicious. We had a couple BLTs and the chocolate strawberry pancakes. Everyone left full and happy. Thank you!
Breakfast was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and service awesome. It was close to our hotel (Indigo) 4 min walk.
A really good Italian restaurant IMHO. Linguini with clam sauce - excellent. Grilled shrimp and calamari over arugula - superb. Nice wine selection. I can hardly wait to try the chocolate suoffle. Delicious limoncello. Good service. Will go back soon.
Great Italian and original food. Everything was cooked fast and it was delicious. Go for it and support fine dining.
