We went there for our Pastor's birthday. We had a fantastic time, dinner was delicious and our server Chris (I hope I remembered his name) was fantastic. We were very happy and delighted with the evening. We were allowed to bring in balloons and cider since we don't drink. Tip is included in the bill for groups of 5 people.
was a last minute decision to find here for our anniversary. not sure if OpenTable related that but if information, but unfortunately there was no recognition of that during our night there. not a big deal since we enjoyed our dining experience there. staff was great - attentive, fast, happy. atmosphere was warm and welcoming, nice overall ambiance. ordered a side of fries, calamari Frito, chicken Parmesan, beef short ribs, with almond tiramisu and the bomba to finish. food came out fast despite being a full house! everything was delicious and a good portion except the calamari, which had no taste and a bit too chewy.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming little Italian restaurant called "Dee’s NYC" and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home.
To start off our meal, we decided to indulge in a classic Italian favorite - pizza. We ordered the Classico & Forest Hills pizza, and it was a true delight. The crust was perfectly crispy, the tomato sauce was flavorful, and the melted mozzarella cheese brought everything together in a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. It was evident that the pizza had been made with love and attention to detail. Also, we requested a sprinkle of truffle oil on both which brought the pizza to another level.
We couldn't resist trying the calamari. To our delight, the calamari was cooked to perfection - tender, not at all chewy, and lightly seasoned with just the right amount of herbs and spices. The accompanying dipping sauce added a tangy kick that perfectly complemented the crispy exterior of the calamari. It was a plate of seafood perfection.
To accompany our delectable meal, we opted for a bottle of Riesling wine recommended by our fabulous waitress, Arianna.
We couldn't have asked for a better waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like valued guests throughout our dining experience. She took the time to explain the menu, answer our questions.
Overall, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for a cozy Italian restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service. You won't be disappointed.

The pizza was amazing. I had the sausage and peppers and the sausage tasted homemade. The tomato sauce did not taste too acidic and with a lot of sodium. The crust had a nice char but was not overcooked. The pasta also tasted homemade and “al dente”. One minor complaint was that some of my seafood was slightly overcooked but over all the seafood pasta dish was delicious. Had a Greek salad and it was good but nothing special. I also tasted the lasagna, it was good. The service was great. The restaurant was nice and clean. I went to this place on a Thursday around 7:00 PM it was full. Might need a reservation for the weekend or if possible, avoid peak hours to avoid waiting for a table. I would definitely will go back to try another pizza.

Walked in during a holiday weekend on a Saturday around 1:30 and was able to get a table for 6 which included 2 strollers. The pizza oven in the corner is on full display.
Staff was welcoming and attentive. There is a brunch menu and the full menu is also available during brunch.
They have bottled beers and a full bar; when my partner ordered an old fashioned, the staff inquired which whisky he wanted.
Fire cracker shrimp appetizer has a nice kick to it. Many tables order fried calamari, which was nicely fried and on a bed of lettuce. Chicken parmesan was blanketed with a nice layer of parmesan. Give Me Five pasta also had a great kick to it. I used to order a seafood medley pasta that unfortunately is no longer on the menu. Portions were relatively generous as the only person in my party who finished order a burger with fries; fries were nothing to write home about though. Granted, we did order two appetizers for the table; had we didn't, half the party would've finished their mains.
There were 2 unisex bathrooms, both of which are small and neither of them had a changing table.
I wanted to pay for another party's meal and was able to do so with the help of the wait staff who was attentive and discreet; they were also willing to break the news to the table when I was too shy to do so myself.
There was plenty of metered parking available and there is street parking nearby as well, which was relatively easy to find.
All in all, Dee's is a warm space with awesome food!

What a wonderful place!
We went to Dee’s for the first time on a Friday night and the experience was great! We had reservations and we’re seated as soon as we got there. The restaurant have a relaxing atmosphere and is beautiful. All the waiters and waitresses were very nice and welcoming.
The food was DELICIOUS! We ordered two pizzas and they came out fast, they’re super tasty and the ingredients are good and high quality.
PS. They have a Nutella Pizza!!! We didn’t ordered but we’re definitely going back to try it!
Highly recommend the restaurant if you’re looking for great food, service and ambiance!
Our most favorite place to get brick oven pizza! We love coming here with my family and friends. Great service, delicious food! Very cozy atmosphere and family friendly:) The menu has nice variety of food options.
The ambiance & decor is a very chill vibes. The food was delicious and service was great, the staff is super attentive and helpful. There are many different varieties of pizza you can choose from, I got the Thai shrimp pizza and it was delicious. The sweet chili sauce was a good kick and addition to the flavoring highly recommended !
Nice clean and quiet place with excellent service! They had crayons for all the kids to draw n the tables, kept them occupied. They had a nice little QR code for the menu.
The pizzas came super quick and were delicious. The calamari was on point and great sized. The mac & cheese fritters balls were something different. The salads were nice, crisp and fresh. The Dee's Fettucine was well balanced and al dente, excellent! The Nene's Spaghetti & Meatballs was unfortunately overly salty and the meat balls were mushy, or else this would've def been a five star review.
We will def be back to try again. hopefully everything will be great on the next run! Until then ...
My new favorite local-ish restaurant! We went Sunday 10/15/23 in the early evening. I believe our server’s name was Mary. She was a sweetheart! Always with a smile on her face; quite welcoming!
The food here is good and portions are great. I’m still dreaming of their cavatelli with sausage. It was so good! A tad greasy. Sausage exudes a lot of grease so I think chef could just be a bit more aware to in return not use as much oil when cooking the overall dish. But flavor was there!
My husband had the lasagna and I love that they used the fresh mozzarella.
I want to go back already.

This is the second year in a row, we went to Dee's for our office Christmas party ( Holiday party if you want to be politically correct. ) There were about 20 of us so we had a Great Variety of Excellent Food. Everything was Fresh and Hot.
For appetizers, some that we enjoyed were the Mac & cheese balls, pizza, tacos, and the fire shrimp that were Not too Hot.
Some of the Main meals were the Legendary Lazagna and I must say- It DOES compete with Grandmas! 3 meats, 3 cheeses, AL dente pasta and just enough sauce to make this 1 of our tables favorites! Short ribs were ordered again by some, Chicken parm was a huge portion and many of us ordered from their daily Special menu. No disappointments what so ever!
Oh, we had various cocktails before the food and the Expresso Martini got a thumbs up from everyone who had it.
Lastly, dessert. We all had various forms of coffee and the top 3 deserts were their special almond tiramisu, cheesecake and the old standard, chocolate covered ice cream. All in all, 2 years in a row- Perfection. No issues!
Dee’s is a gem!!
I’ve been wanting to visit for such a long time and figured why not save it for a special occasion…. And it was worth every moment. Our server Mary was vibrant, kind and spot on all other servers were warming as well which was nice. I couldn’t decide between the salmon and pesto pasta so I went with the salmon from her recommendation which was delish! My sons chicken tenders are usually always over cooked but here they were crisp yet juicey. The chicken parm was massive and made to perfection. The dessert was light and memorable. Make sure to try the wood fire pizza and overall we can’t wait to go back.
The drinks are also quite special which is such a rat commodity.
Amazing food! The best quality of pasta and pizza in this area! Ordered food delivery twice. The portion and quality are top notch. A bit pricy but so tasty! Love Dee's Fettuccine! Pizza is crunchy and you don't feel thirsty afterwards!
This place is great. The food is amazing and tasty. The servers are amazing and very nice. The truffle delight pizza is the best. The wings were very good. The meatball was very good in the sauce.
Only have good things to say about Dee’s!! Just had my daughters first birthday party there and let me tell you the staff is awesome! The event manager, Olivia, was unbelievable! So responsive to emails and text, super accommodating and just made the whole planning so much easier! Wait staff was all very friendly but have to give a shout out to Dolores, few of my guests came up to me to rave about her. Everyone loved the food especially the pizzas!! Definitely would go back on a regular day so I can actually enjoy the food and not be hosting a party.
Dee's will give you a touch of nostalgia! I've been coming here for DECADES and it has always made me feel like I'm getting together with family!!! Their staff is AMAZING! Warm, friendly, welcoming, family!!! Especially because you see the same faces over and over and over again which tells me something very important, they are family. Hundreds of visits, never disappointed!!!
A bit pricey! For a salad it was $20 it came with walnuts apples and feta cheese. Their Burger and fries was $20 dollars and their pasta dishes were $25+ .Food was tasty just over priced. The Staff and the atmosphere was nice.
What a lovely restaurant! Food was delicious and service was great. Staffs are friendly. Also this restaurant has a good atmosphere. Will definitely come back to try their pizza next time.
Went to Dee's for the first time today. Was very impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Really like to be fried mac and cheese with the truffle blue cheese sauce. The chicken parmesan was fantastic as well. Very high quality chicken with a delicious sauce. The chocolate chip cookies were nice and warm with lots and lots of chips. Highly recommend going here.
