Classic, casual, quality, New York neighborhood pizza. Not going to blow your mind if you’re a New Yorker or the one bite pizza guy but still a great standard thin crust pie. A standout on the menu are their pinwheels. Both their pepperoni and their broccoli pinwheels are deliziosa!
Went for the classic New York slices and liked them enough to make it my toddlers first NYC slice! So now we have history so have to come back again. Ray Romano eats here too based on the pic on the wall. He's Italian too, I think...so it must be legit, right?
But enough about Ray, you wanna know about the pizza. The slices are good says my wife, a new Yorker of 30 years. That's good enough for me.
But hold up, we also got the grandma slice on a whim. Whoa! I liked the regular slices. But I LOVED the grandma slice! It was one of the best I have ever had.
The owner was kind and friendly in the most new Yorker kinda way. Sounded like Jon Stewart but Italian. I dig it.
The guys working the kitchen messed up on our order. Once they realized their mistake, they fixed it by giving us the correct slices, letting us keep the wrong ones on the house.
I'll be back.
Solid New York Pizza, The Sauce reminds me of Angelo's that used to be on Main Street back in the day. Definitely an old-school flavor with good ingredients. Pizza looked right and was cooked right. The place definitely has some nostalgia as it has been here for many years. I would recommend the Sicilian over the regular slice though. 4 stars, not the best but definitely not the worst
Used to live on Groton street back in 2001. Haven’t been back since moving away some 20 yrs ago. By chance I had the opportunity to stop by New York, and this is the first place I wanted to visit. The pizza is amazing just like it was in my memory from two decades ago. The store is renovated inside but the good pizza is as it always was! Loved every bite!
Good thin crust pizza. Nice little neighborhood joint. It’s not much to look at inside but good pizza.
Amazing pizza and great service. One of the last great neighborhood pizzerias in queens. Highly recommend!
The classic Lillian Sicilian slice. The fact is that we've never eaten anything else at this oldschool pizzeria in Forest Hills, because it was so good the first time we had it many years back and remains just as good today. When my kids crave pizza, there's no alternative.
Fastest I’ve left a review but I wanted to help out anyone else who was looking for a gluten free pizza and was on the fence. Amazing! I ordered this grandma style with mushrooms. Delicious.
Great local spot. We ordered for a family party. Not pictured two large pies, everyone went crazy for the food. Broccoli pinwheels taste homemade like someone’s grandma made them.
Great pizza in the heart of Forest Hills. This place has been around since 1971. I love that's it's an authentic pizzeria with no absurd gimmick pizza like buffalo chicken pizza or pasta on pizza. The food is excellent and again reminds of what real authentic pizzerias tasted like when I grew up as a kid. It seems they use quality ingredients. Even the music is out of the 80's. My favorite is their chicken parmigiana hero. Love love love Lillian pizza.

It's a casual, friendly neighborhood pizza place. The slices I've had have been good and the portions of the pasta are generous. I also enjoy their broccoli pinwheels when I want something small.
Really simple and flavorful NYC slice. I particularly enjoyed their upside down dove
I order spaghetti and meatballs, and garlic knots. Both items were superb. They also gave a free bread with my order. The food was great when compared to the price of only $12.75 for the whole take-out order. The people there were nice and sincere. Would deffinetly go there and try their other items.
