My first seafood boil experience and I must say … amazing choice. Not only did our waiter walk us through the entire menu; but helped us decide what would be best for us to try. Great drinks. Great fun. *the coconut sorbet is a must.
Loved this place. The bar was great, and the food was even better. We got a few appetizers, the clams were the best. Order a nice variety for our boil and it was great. Staff suggested adding pasta to the sauce and it was delicious. Service was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back
Food was great! We got a combo shrimp and snow crab broil (definitely add sausage!!), mac and cheese, Cajun fries, brussel sprouts with bacon, grilled oysters, raw oysters, and a few drinks. I have a low spice tolerance and got the mild spice level. It was a manageable level, and I'd even go to medium.
The drinks are always a fun experience since they have the light up cubes in them.
This is my 3rd time coming and it's always a good experience.
Nice clean and roomy seating. It is on the pricy side for these type of food. Food were salty on our combo, adding some carb goes well with the sauce. The best tasting items was the oyster. We did not have any discounts for birthday but the server did light a candle for free.
The shrimp and snow crab were frozen so
The middle age asian concierge was funny.
First time here... Recommended by a friend.
We had a party of 4 plus a baby and his stroller.
First, we were greeted by a hostess who was lacking in the hospitality industry, no smile all attitude. She first seated us in a half empty restaurant at a half shared table for 8 and told us to park the stroller in the corner of the restaurant. So where's the baby going to sit?
We asked for a table in the back where it was still empty, so the stroller can seat the baby by the table. She unwillingly walked us back there.
Then we were greeted by a waiter who started off helpful & nice, but ended up to be rude.
Happy hour 3pm-7pm...
use their qr code to get a menu... ok fine
As we are skimming through their electronic menu, the waiter decided that since we ordered happy hour items, appetizers, drinks, and an entree, to take our paper menus away. Even though we asked to keep one menu, he said the menu on the phone is the same as the paper version. He wasn't so happy when he was told that the phone was dying.
We tried to ordered a tray of uni, but they were out. So opted for the uni pasta, interestingly enough they had uni for pasta. Then tried to order the Mushroom Risotto with A5 Miyazaki Wagyu from their special of the day section of the menu, was told that it was an appetizer. They should have indicated on the menu because I'm looking
at this as an entree. What appetizer is priced $30?
Ended up ordering rack of lamb (it was a small lamb only 3 chops).
Overall, it was good food with mediocre service. Best bring good company to offset their service.
5 stars for food, 3 stars for service
Hard to find parking in the area. Most likely, you will have to put it in the parking lot. Best time to go it during Happy Hour. Discounted strong cocktail drinks, good job. They also have Happy Hour clams, and oysters; raw, or grilled. I never had Grilled Lobster Cheese before. It was very cheesy, buy good. Overall, the staff was friendly. Nice spot!
Amongst an influx of cajun/boil type restaurants in the NYC area, The Naked Crab does it a lil different but right. We started off with their grilled oysters, grilled corn with cheese, their bone marrow, garlic noodles, and lobster roll. Each dish was excellently executed, hot, flavorful, and delicious. We opted for the clam boil, mildly spiced with plenty of butter and garlic. The boil included the usual, corn and potatoes and a twist with their inclusion of rice cakes which are chewy, tasty and an enjoyable addition to the boil bags. The drinks are well made, not too strong and come inside the coolest, zip lock drink style bags. The crowds will be coming soon to this place, they're doing just about everything right.
Seen this place many times passing by but tried it for the first time. I'm impressed considering I'm usually not for seafood. We love their atmosphere and the food was awesome. The waiter was very nice and patient. Unfortunately we missed their Uni Pasta but we will be back again!
Delicious and fresh seafood. Their shirmp is good, clam and oyster are fresh. The only bad thing I gave for 4 stars because their beverages are so expensive. The coke is extremely small ( not kidding, same size with Tabasco sauce) and cost me 3 dollars. That doesn't make sense because all we know how cheap for sparkling drinks.
Best happy hour in Flushing. Can’t go wrong with grilled oysters and wings at the bar. Friendly bartender & staff
