We shop some of the stores on Bidwell Street in Folsom about one a month... It's a 70 mile round trip so not an "every day" episode... We went yesterday (Wednesday - IMPORTANT, keep reading) and had lunch at Fat's Asia Bistro that could not have been better... Fat's Asia Bistro in Folsom has a special on Wednesdays -- they call it "Gan Bei Day" -- that, for us, cannot be beaten... Two appetizers and a bottle of wine for $45... Our server, Alycia, remembered us and noted that there had been few, if any, orders for the Wednesday special since our last visit about a month ago... Fat's Asia Bistro apparently does not advertise this very much, but for my wife and me two of their tasty very generous appetizers and a good bottle of wine is plenty for our meal... We both love their Panko Crusted Calamari so each of us ordered that... Add in an excellent bottle of Chardonnay and we had a nearly $60 delicious meal for $45.00... We have always been attracted to the quality of the table staff at this Fat's... Alycia did not disappoint in any way: friendly on arrival, very professional handling our order, prompt with our order, checked on us appropriately... In summary: great food, professional staff, wonderful bargain... We'll certainly be back... Hope to see some of you some Wednesday afternoon...

I absolutely loved it, the food was awesome we had the din sum basket, the best! We also had the sampler platter, very good calamari! Plus we each ordered a calypso freeze drink. Perfect lunch � I live in Los Banos so every time I come to visit my friend Debbie we always have lunch at Fats�

Always love the bar tables and have the salt and pepper chicken, fried rice and Asian 🍸 martini. So good and the staff is awesome.

When I go out to eat I never bring home a box but eating here I brought home a To go box. The food is great and plentiful, the service is wonderful they never hugged us but made sure to keep checking on us. My tips range from $5-$10 but my server was so great I tipped her $20. I will definitely be back again.

Great, prompt, smiling, friendly service. Fabulous food. The banana cream pie was to die for. Highly recommended.

Hubby and I come here almost every Tuesday night for Fat's Tuesday Happy Hour. The food is wonderful and the bartenders are absolutely the best (Mike, Chris & Ronnie)! Personable, great service and fabulous drinks! They're the reason we keep coming back. Thank you for the treat we look forward to every week!
