We were here for lunch on a Tuesday at about 12:15 and the restaurant was pretty much empty. It's a small place, and especially since there was no business, it seemed bleak and depressing. On the plus side, service was excellent and they had several dishes that we don't generally see at an Indian
I thought their chicken biryani would be same as what its supposed to to be. No it is not. It sucks and is either bland or burning spicy.
The service is below average, the people working are really eager and restless around close time.

Rude owner, went with a group on saturday and they refused to serve anything from menu, asked everyone to eat the overpriced buffet food.
Will never step at this chain again.
Their TX location is also rude aouth indians running the joint.

There is a mixed review for Fair oaks and Folsom Peacock. When i went to Fair Oaks peacock totally pissed off .I ordered chicken curry and Parotta. All i got was chicken half cooked still blood in it and Frozen parotta from Desi Bazaar .Pissed off totally.
This is a great place to grab a quick lunch. Service is fast, all employees are friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend the lunch buffet! Enjoy a variety of options - vegetarian and not.
I like their buffet on friday / saturday morning.
But I hate to order from Peacock in the evenings. They pita bread instead of naan
