Forest City moving on up with a franchise like Moe's in our small town and not at the mall or on highway . Have cleaned plate the three times I have eaten there . I think post office parking is going to be available when their lease ends . I will be a regular as menu varied enough for me . Mostly proud of what new owners of the building have done and hope downtown Forest City gets busier and grows also .

Moe's does BBQ right. I had the Turkey platter upon the recommendation by staff, which turned out to be great. It was juicy and seasoned just right. The white house-sauce is delicious and I requested some extra. The cornbread is the best I've had in years. So many BBQ sauce options, mostly on the spicy side, which I prefer anyways. The decor is underrated and adds just a touch of chic. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. Will def come back and recommend to others. Note that portions are not large, but you will be satisfied. Oh and there's outdoor seating too.
Order at the bar and they bring it out to you. Great selection of sauces like Roasted Ghost Pepper and Mango Habanero bbq sauce. They also have the original Moe’s sauce if you don’t like it spicy. They serve beer and mixed drinks here. A bbq platter with two sides and drink is $10.50–very reasonable considering a lesser quality, super-sized fast food meal costs the same!

Great food. Love the Smokey flavor. You get a lot for your money. Be ready to order before you sit down. Friendly people. Waitress could have checked on us to see if we needed more drink , but we were taken care of by the lady at the door who took our order. All in all a good place to eat.
Love this place, especially this location. Great service and quality. Most times comes out super fast. All the meats are good. Wings too. If you like seafood, Get the catfish! Never disappointed.
Love that they have a heated patio during these times is super important. *Wish they would enforce their no smoking
policy out there, have had several meals ruined by inconsiderate smokers.

Update: This has become one of our regular lunch places, service is good and food is consistently well prepared and filling.
Pretty good food at decent prices. Atmosphere is pleasant with covered outside eating area. The sides look small but are still pretty filling. Good choice for fairly quick lunch.

Been in the are for two years and finally made it to Moe's. Have to say they didn't disappoint! The pulled pork was tender and juicy and the smoked turkey was some of the best we've ever had! Mac and cheese was simple and delicious and the fried cornbread on the said was moist and fluffy with a nice crisp! Definitely going back!
Kris the bartender slash only one running around handling the front & the patio section was awesome. She was very personable & friendly. Kyle the cook was very attentive & plated up hot & delicious food (we got catfish & ribs). The manager (Nicole, l think her name was) paid no attention to her surroundings & didn't seem to help Kris at all. This was only our 2nd time in, the 1st before Covid & whereas we had good service & great food, it was apparent only one person was doing it all up front. Was just sad to witness.
I had the catfish sandwich with fries and okra and honestly it was the best fish sandwich I have ever tasted.
Sides were also very good and tasty although I usually prefer no salt on my fries.....
Definitely am looking forward to trying the other menu items....
They do not have to many options to choose from, but enough for a BBQ restaurant. The food was great, I especially loved their cornbread. There were 2 things I wasn't very happy with though. The first being how you must stand in line to order which ends up blocking the path between the main entrance, the outdoor seating, and the drink fountain, customers are also standing around some of the tables where people are eating, this also makes it difficult for people that may want to have more than one alcoholic drink with their meal because you have to pay for each drink you order when you order it. The second thing is that the price of the food is a bit expensive for the portion that you receive and for the fact that you have to fill your own drink and get the BBQ sauce yourself. Other than that the atmosphere was nice and the food was amazing.
