Long time customer here and with maybe one dine-in exception (which was acknowledged and amended by our server when she noticed my grumpy husband's frown due to not having our order taken in a timely manner), my family has always been extremely pleased with the service and the quality of the food, dine in and carry out. We have eaten there probably once or twice a month for quite some time now. Once, I got California rolls with seaweed that was ever so *slightly* chewy. Once. That's the worst I can say has ever happened food wise. Excellent sushi. We love the Crazy Bombs, Seaside Rolls, chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu (try it with the curry sauce), yakisoba, California rolls, potstickers, spring rolls, shrimp tempura and salad. My kids also love the 'styrofoam' noodles. 🙂 This is a quirky, small town joint with food that's freshly prepared and worth waiting for. It may not be your average dining experience, but this local family loves the place!!

This is a wonderful restaurant, it is not like a big city.. all fancy, it is a local place, very casual but the food is great. The Crazy Monkey is the best! The Volcano is another, the dinner salad is great, a light citrus dressing and slices of avocado and cucumber. If you want something real fancy and expensive go downtown Portland and deal with traffic, parking and prices, if you want good food in a small town atmosphere come here!

We stopped by from Tillamook craving some sushi and heard great things about this place so we had to stop by and see for ourselves. It was the best sushi we've ever had!! I got the bento box with orange chicken, rice, salad and spring rolls! That was amazing! My hubby got the monkey brain, grasshopper roll, FG roll, crazy monkey roll and another roll that we can't remember what it was called! Great service and friendly staff! We will definitely be going there again!!

I love this place. It's close to work, so I can get lunch, but I don't live too far away, so my husband drives out and meets me for dinner on occasion. They are always very busy whenever I get there. But they are still fast. Try the Monkey Bombs. They are amazing!

Great sushi! No complaints! The service was great and the sushi was super fresh. The lady that is serving us has a very funny sense of humor, which could come off the wrong way but she means well and we enjoyed the service! Recommended!

Good sushi, friendly staff. The wait was longer than expected. Try the mushroom Crazy Bombs. Great take on deep fried mushrooms, with cream cheese filling and topped with slightly spicy sauce. Tiger Roll and Double Chrunch Roll are a must try. Huge selection of sake to choose from. It's a small place, take out went well.

Our new Forest Grove Sushi stop. Very kind friendly customer service! I had the Bento box with orange chicken, white rice, fried dumplings and spinach salad. The Bento was a good size portion for me. Thanks guys for caring friendly customer service! :)

100% would recommend even to people who don't like sushi they have so many options and the owner of the place is super nice and sweet and always likes to talk to costumers. The food here is so tasty that someone that I know that used to not like sushi fall in love with it. 100% would recommend

Food is fresh and beautifully presented. Wait staff is very friendly. It's a small place, not at all fancy, just really delicious with bento, sushi, nagari, and various other hot dishes. The menu is not overwhelming which I appreciate.

Definitely 1 of our FAVORITE sushi restaurants! I always call ahead & it's ready when you get there! If they're busy, there's a lil bit of a wait to pay, but the food is totally worth it! We LOVE their Crispy Cream Rolls, Spicey 2 Me Rolls, 911 & the Monkey Brain (as long as the avocados are perfect..)!! Yummy!
