Cool little spot, right next to the R. Walked it and was greeted right away, I ended up ordering the lunch box. Got chicken and broccoli and white rice, good portion, freshly made and love the gloves of garlic it had in the dish. would come back for sure and try other dishes.
Great place to grab Burmese traditional cuisines! Definitely my go-to restaurant to get Burmese foods when I’m in the city!
Great food and service. The pad thai is some of best. Last time I tried the chicken fried dumplings. They were so good, not oily at all. I highly recommend.
Great Burmese/Asian food spot. I always saw it from a distance, but it took me forever to finally go. I knew it was going to be good because of how long it's been there and the reviews.
Delicious food for reasonable prices. I've been to Myanmar, so I kind of knew what to expect. I enjoyed the food very much, and the waiter/cashier was super friendly.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!! I would give it 10 stars if I could. This is our go to restaurant to take food out from when we visit our daughter in Manhattan. The owner is so very sweet and always is incredibly welcoming.
It's so difficult to find Burmese food and Asian Bowl is the best Burmese food we have ever eaten.
We always get the Ohnoh Kawt Swe Soup, the mixed vegetable curry, A Thote Sone, Burmese mai fun with shrimp, the 2 types of tea leaf salad, and khauk swal kyaw which is a Burmese noodle dish.
The dishes are always prepared fresh and everything is piping hot and beyond delicious. It's such a treat for our family.
The whole experience is made even more enjoyable by the owner being so very friendly and kind.
Keep up the GREAT work Asian Bowl! We are true fans!!
The food was delicious. We ordered vegetarian beef chow fun. The food was fresh and not greasy or left a lingering aftertaste. I was so satisfied after eating the meal. We all had the same dish and everyone agreed that it was the best chow fun ever.
Update: we ordered again and truly enjoyed our meal.
Update: I went to pickup the food myself this time. Warm friendly staff. They introduced me a chickpea cracker that they make fresh. It was delicious. Not on the menu yet.
My partner and I absolutely love this place! We’ve been coming for years now, and the Burmese food is amazing! Always such a friendly environment in the restaurant. If you’re unsure of what to get, just ask the lovely gentleman for a recommendation. You won’t be disappointed 😍✨🍽
One of the best Burmese food in NYC. The coconut soup was delicious. My myanmar heritage food I travel from long island to elmhurst also for malaysian food I go here a lot and the owner are friends.
Food was great, tons of pan Asian food options. Also had a Burmese food menu which was delicious. Personal favorite was the shrimp curry and the pork neck.
Order the Burmese food. The Chin Baung Kyaw is one of the most interesting dishes I've eaten and I highly recommend. Sour salty spicy!
