Great salad bar , at lunch it includes cold cuts ham, turkey and swiss cheese .The five layer rainbow cake was perfect , just the right amount of sweet. Prime rib could have been better, too much fat.
Great food excellent service. Our waitress was very accommodating to our dairy and soy free restrictions and offered us many alternatives and ensured our food was cooked on a separate skillet. Only complaint is that many of our sides were left off and didn’t get to us until after we finished our meal. Slight oversight but it was a busy night.
Been to this restaurant 2 times ...first time for lunch...salad bar excellent, rib eye sandwich was delish. Was there last night got the prime rib and salad bar. The salad bar was excellent again, everything fresh and well stocked. This is the first restaurant that I have ever seen the manager checking the temperature of the salad bar food! It is truly the best salad bar I have ever had anywhere. Kudo’s to the management ! I wasn’t as happy with my prime rib, it just didn’t have much flavor. When I conveyed this to our waitress she immediately had the manager, Michelle, come over. Michelle was very eager to make sure we were all pleased and returned with a whole new plate of food. This time the prime rib was tender and delicious. Michelle came back several times to make sure we were all pleased. I would highly recommend this restaurant and suggest adding the salad bar to your meal. You will not be disappointed!
Our first time to Charlie Browns ane we were very impressed with the service and the dinners. Salad bar was well stocked and fresh. Everything was clean. Steak and chicken meals were tender and cooked exactly to order. We were a party of five and all agreed that the waiter was top notch. He was polite and always checked to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be going back!

At first we were extremely annoyed. We called ahead with a party of 8 on a Saturday night. When we arrived, we were getting seated right away. However, when taking us to our table, another party of 8 claimed to be me and stole our reservation. We were told the wait would be 15-20. We knew it was going to be longer since there were a few parties in groups of 6 waiting. It was a Saturday at 6:30 so decided to wait. Yes, the place is cramped but it’s the old forked river house so you know the place is going to be smaller than the other Charlie Brown’s. After 30min we were ready to leave as our kids were done waiting. That’s when the night changed. The manager Scott was told of our situation and came right out with free soda for the kids. He told the host that we must be seated right away and adjusted things for us to make it work. Then after being seated he came out with a free pitcher of sangria for us adults. He went over and beyond to make the situation right. It was not their fault someone stole our reservation. The food was great! Thank you Scott for making our evening wonderful!
I went for a late afternoon/early dinner, on a Saturday the place was packed, as eateries are around here when they are new. The noise level was normal for a place of this size, fully packed. The table spacing was a little close together, but it may have just seemed that way, again because the place was packed. Salad bar had all fresh items, and well stocked, as someone from kitchen was constantly restocking the items. The food was awesome, like the 'old' Charlie Brown's that I have missed since they closed years ago. The entire staff was courteous and attentive. You could turn down the phone ringers a little, I could hear them way back in the corner of the restaurant, and they were ringing off the wall. Thank you for returning to Forked River, I'm happy I don't have to drive 30 minutes for a good steak.
It's our second Charlie Brown's in Lacey. Hope this one stays put.
I have been there a bunch of times.
Wish they had the small steak on the kids menu like Longhorns and Outback . Otherwise I have no complaints. Salad bar is always fresh. Even at 830-9pm same thing with the service. Get no eye rolls when I come in a little late, or bring the grandkids.
Its nice to have a choice in town .
My server Amy M was awesome. She was very attentive. she saw when we needed a refill on drinks she was right at the table. The food came out fast and hot. Definitely will be back soon. Thank you Amy for your hospitality.
Robin was our greeter and server. She went above and beyond in explaining the menu, coupons, and Charlie's card points. She even provided entries for sweepstakes!
When the bread was not available for my wrap, she made alternative recommendations which were helpful and delicious. Prime rib lunch sandwich was perfectly prepared.
All around great experience. We will be back!
Great to have a Charlie Brown'S back in town. The atmosphere is nice and classy. The food is out of this world. I'd recommend the surf and turf, delicious!!! Don't forget to add the salad bar to your meal.
Many good choices on the menu
The filet and cowboy steak were both delicious. Salad bar is great! Hostess, waitress and food server were spot on. Only disappointment was they ran out of the half roasted chicken which is always my first choice. Filet was a good second choice though.
Entrees were good, salad bar was great as always. Took a long while for someone's margarita to be made. Also the size of the table we had was barely big enough for 5 persons.
Had dinner, 8 13 19, the female bartender was nice and turned us on to a nice bottled wine deal. At table the waitress was friendly and accommodating. Food was good and it was a nice night.
Salad Bar was great, service was friendly...hostesses were ok, not as welcoming as they could have been..nor did they say anything as we left. Ordered 2 add ons to our 2 salad bar orders...the loaded potato -was overcooked...but the chicken tenders were good. Overall we would go back, but they have a few things to tweak.

Wasn't crowded when we got there at 4 but it was when we left near 6. For 2 people, that's a long time for dinner so service was a little slow, server realized it and gave us a free round of drinks. My plate was short on shrimp, didn't get as many as menu stated, was full anyway so I didn't say anything. Not cheap. $100 with tip for 2 people
