I just tried the gyro at Cafe Athens and I am obsessed! It is hard to find awesome Greek food like this and I recommend everyone give them a try!
Delicious Food, Excellent service! This time I had the Chicken platter. The pita was so fluffy and light, the meat is always cooked to perfection. My friends and I love Cafe Athens! 🍇🌿

I ordered the traditional gyros, with wedge potatoes. I didn't even get to try the potatoes, because after half of that Gyro, I was stuffed. I left my to go box on the table yesterday, and I have been kicking myself all day for making such a horrible mistake. I will definitely go back. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and a great location!

Solid gyros ‘n’ dolmas, pleasant atmosphere, great staff. A good place to go when you want a casual evening out with something other than burgers, fried chicken, or Mexican in FoCo. I also pick up a bottle of their Greek seasoning every few months or so, just to have with salads ‘n’ grilled chicken ‘n’ such at home. The portions can be a little skimpy at times, and there’s been a few occasions where my food was unexpectedly dry or my fries were super greasy - but those have been rare.
It took me a while to find a place where falafels are good in Fort Collins, cause all the ones I have tried are gross, but I LOVE the falafels from Cafe Athens and the sauce. The only good ones in FOCO!
Since being back from Germany, which had some of the best Greek/Mediterranean food I've had, but I haven't been to Greece yet, cafe Athens had hands down the best Gyro meat. Pita and hummus was on point. Dolma was alright. Falfel was good. And the Turkish coffee was on point!
10/10 will go again, and again, and again. The drive from Cheyenne is 100% worth it.
Best Greek food I've had since I lived in NY, amd better than most I had there. Any folks saying it's "got no flavor" probably caught the BIG 'vid because this is flavortown.
