Legitimately our new favorite place in the area! Food was fast and absolutely delicious. The french fries were exceptional. The salsa bar has good options and the beans and rice are great. The service was lovely and attentive. Staff was all kind and friendly. Definitely recommend the chimichanga and will be going back soon!
Being the foodie that I am, I'm always looking for great new restaurants to try. Los Comales did not disappoint! Although the menu was a little smaller than I would have liked, I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Mexican food in Fort Collins...not the Americanized junk you usually get. I had the pescado and it was delicious the sauce has a serrano base so it was spicy just the way I like it but very flavorful. I even liked the mushrooms and I usually hate mushrooms! Staff was great, restaurant was clean, and the food was reasonably priced. I'll definitely be coming back and telling others about Los Comales! Next time I'll have to try the menudo and margaritas!
Best taqueria with the most authentic delicious Mexican tacos! The tacos are just as authentic as the Mexican tacos I ate in San Antonio. The Al Pastor, Asada beef, shrimp tacos were all soo delicious. Fort Collins has a gem of a taqueria right near Colorado State University campus.
I can not believe I have lived here for this long and just now discovered Taqueria Los Comales. It has to be one of the best place in town. Several different salsas to choose from. The food is excellent and the staff is great. Check out the kitchen manager....he can cook and is fun to look at too! 10 stars and we love the staff even more than the food.
I had low expectations when I walked into this restaurant. I didn’t expect much from the very young lady that greeted us. I was so wrong. She has a wonderful and charming personality, and did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome. The waiter was also great at his job. I ordered shredded beef enchiladas and I loved them. The beef was tender and well flavored. I loved the red sauce as it was a bit spicy and bursting with flavor. I want to go back and try the salsa verde. The rice and beans were not an afterthought as they were prepared to perfection..
Absolutely INCREDIBLE!! We are not easy to please, especially with Mexican Food. Meat was hot and tender, environment is on point... LOVED the Fajitas! Beans and Quesadillas were out of this world. Our waiter, Omar spoke Spanish with us and our 5 kids the entire time and couldn't have been more friendly. I wish more restaurants were like this! Thank you SO MUCH!
This place is absolutely amazing!! Delicious food amazing salsa a d the drinks are well worth the money. After trying other places we decided this one is going to be our Mexican spot and we have been coming here for almost 2 years now. Everyone is super sweet and it's just an amazing place!!
Tacos are great. The diversity of the salsa bar definitely makes this place awesome. They finally have an alcohol license. This place is perfect for a quick lunch, casual date or for a family dinner. They updated the menu and have a great drink list.
