Newer Waffle house BUT not a safe place for solo travelers, especially elderly or women. This location should honestly never have been constructed as the low end run down hotels that completely surround this Waffle House have a ton of mentally ill and homeless constantly hanging out both outside and inside. I arrived shortly after some delusional woman trespassed again throwing salt all over the inside and screaming bible verses to their employees until sheriffs removed her. The service was good as was the food but for the employees and customers safety, this location needs to be immediately closed and relocated somewhere else. Whoever in Waffle House management thought this was a good location should be fired as no amount of security measures will stop the people living around there from trespassing.

Terrible sever. Said she was a manager and then was laughing on the phone with someone when I asked who her manager was. She expected us as customers to know that you get charged for extra meat if you split the all star breakfast to have half bacon and half sausage. She didn't know how to do her job and was VERY unprofessional. There's a reason we come during the day where there is better service and better cooks.

Been awhile since I was able to get hash browns at 2 am. Great place if you wake up super hungry and a good deal too. Worth it! 🍳🥓👍

My son Joe and I left Iowa at 6 am Friday morning and drove to Fort Collins Co. to help his wife's brother move his things on Saturday morning back to Iowa. At about 2:15 we were 45 minutes from the La Quinta Hotel. We were seeing mountains ahead and looked at Google Maps to discover that Fort Collins was only 45 minutes from Rocky Mt. National Park. We located our motel and saw a Waffle House just down the street and immediately planned to eat at Waffle House when we got back from Rocky Mountain National Park. When we did get back, we were starving! There are no Waffle Houses in Iowa and we eat at Waffle House whenever we can!
When we arrived we were the only ones in the place besides the cook and the waitress.
The food was amazing and the waitress was amazing! I devoured the bacon, eggs, toast, grits with jalapeños and cheese and two cups of good coffee! My plan from the beginning was to save the pecan Waffle for the grand finale! Somehow I had gotten a dbl thick Waffle that Joe was quick to notice, and I felt bad for him. His was already gone. The accompanying picture shows that I couldn't eat any more than half of my Waffle. Which was actually a whole Waffle!
I did feel wasteful and offered the rest to Joe, but he was too full too!
My wife was jealous when we told her we had eaten at Waffle House, and I felt bad for her too.
There are no places to eat breakfast in Iowa like a Waffle House!
PS, true story!
Steve and Joe!

If I could give you no stars I would. I walked in on a Monday only to be met by racist staff. A female who was not looking at me began to greet me. As she looked up to see me, she stopped greeting me and proceeded to ignore me. There was two cooks who turned around also once noticing I was black quickly turned around and ignored the situation also. There was only one waitress who helped me. Carol, she was very polite. The funny thing about all of this is my fiance works here and was the one who put the order in. This is the second time I was treated this way by staff. First time they threatened to call the police on me while I waited in the parking lot to walk my fiance home. For these actions waffle house will never get any business from us and she will be finding another place of employment where skin color don't determine how you treat someone

We walked in the door where we encountered a greeter who didn't speak above a whisper and would not seat us at a table, kept insisting we sit at the counter. Walked out, have no idea about the food. But, we ended up at Grandpa's. Excellent food, excellent staff at Grandpa's.

food was decent and service was good. The server was very attentive but kept saying sorry to everyone -- implying something was wrong. He is a nice lad, but he shouldn't be so insecure!
