I have to be brutally honest here. I came here for a Father’s day lunch with my mom and my stepdad. We are Vietnamese.
We recently moved up from Denver and this is the second Pho restaurant they’ve been been to, and first time here. We were regularly going to Pho Duy in Denver on S Federal, and that was where we always went.
Most times, for me it’s good enough for me to eat and i’m not as picky. Today I have never been to a worse “Pho” or “Vietnamese” restaurant.
Today I ordered the Rice plate with pork. B2. & I was literally shocked at what was brought out. Not only was the meat portion just enough for a small child, the egg rolls were veggie.. and the fish sauce is something i myself could make at home by googling “simple fish sauce recipe”.
Google “Com Suon Nuong” or “Com Dac Biet” to know how the meat should look in this dish.
As for my my parent’s Pho. My step dad couldn’t even finish his bowl because it was
just so disappointing and dissatisfying.
My mom finished her bowl because well, growing up in poverty she could never waste food.
The broth is key in Pho, and I had a bowl of soup that came as a part of my dish.. and at the end I tried it, and it tastes like the broth you get when you make instant pho noodles.. or maybe a can of beef broth is closer…
The server was nice. She was the only one working, and luckily it wasn’t busy on a Saturday at 1pm. She asked how everything was, and I didn’t have to heart to truly tell her how bad the meal was. But i asked if this restaurant had the same owner as the one in Denver. She said No, and I asked if the owner was Vietnamese and she said No.
When my mom went to pay, and I could hear the server ask if everything was good, and when I asked my mom how she responded she said she could only smile. & the server said she knew it didn’t taste like Vietnamese food.
We will not be coming here again. I would hesitate to try the other dishes if they were free.

I got the large steak soup and chicken rice paper roll (spring rolls most other places I've been). The flavor was terrific all around! Completely satisfied as far as taste. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the "large" soup. I usually get a medium/regular but I'm glad I went with the large here. They were very generous on the noodles and limes which I was also happy with. Nothing to complain about enough to knock off any stars. I will definitely be returning! Attentive but not overly intrusive wait staff.

I won't be back, but it wasn't the worst. Staff is great, the inside is dirty and run down, and the food is mediocre. I had a seafood noodle soup, the broth is nothing special, but the majority of the bowl was rice noodle, way more than other places. My bowl had 2 shrimp, 5 or so little cubes of fake crab meat, and some fish cake. It was supposed to have scallops but there weren't any. So for $11.50 plus tip, not worth it.

Anyone who rates Pho by anything other than the aroma and taste of the BROTH, is NOT AN AVID PHO EATER. Pho is only that when you add the broth to the mix of noodles, raw meats, fats and vegetables in a bowl. Sure, the restaurant itself could use a facelift and the food could be better prepared in some establishments, however, when it comes to amazing Aroma-filled, light brown Pho broth, this place has an award-winning bowl.

They used to be amazing, but can't seem to keep decent wait staff. We walked in and we're ignored for a good 10 minutes. Well, I was. When I left my bf to do something, he was promptly seated. 15 minutes later, we hadn't gotten any type of attention. No water, no acknowledgement, nothing. We ended up leaving. Mind you, there were 3 other patrons and 2 out of 3 of us ended up ignored. I felt bad for the elderly couple. They were left standing just as long as we were

Altogether the pho tasted good. Not the best broth but certainly not the worst either. They go pretty skimpy on the meat though. It's very disappointing to order extra meatballs for $3 and you get just a few paper thin slices of what used to be a meatball.

Great service and excellent pho! We were visiting in the area and wanted to compare Pho Duy to our favorite pho place back at home. Surprisingly very similar to each other, so we'll be back once in the Fort next year. Staff was sweet, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Feel like this place has slipped. This last time my wife and I were there we ordered a noodle bowl and a pho. Noodle bowl was okay, meat seemed over cooked compared to previous times having it. Pho was not the correct order and the server dropped the bowl off and was not seen again expect texting in the corner by the kitchen. We had water with our meal and when the food was dropped off I asked for more water and never recieved it.
