5star! Went on a night that I was coming down with a cold and despite soup not being on the menu, waiter asked chef if he could prepare a chicken broth soup for me! Viola! Delish. #Over&Above. Risotto that my hubby had to die for.
Fabulous food very fresh organic produce! Best Baratta i've ever had! Fabulous grilled octopus and calamari! The beef carpaccio delicious I just added a squeeze of lemon! Perfectly cooked lamb chops with a delicious rosemary Demi glaze! I highly recommend this restaurant! Friendly servers! Extensive wine list!
What a perfect meal! Service was superb, ambiance delightful and rustic but mainly, the food was fresh, delicious and perfectly portioned. I was eating alone and smiled with every bite. Knowing they source local organic as much as possible and create everything in house (including the pasta) made me feel at home. The wine list, the desserts, the coffee and finishing with a complimentary Italian cordial.. I will return đ
The best!
An amazing health conscious step for Italian cuisine in South Florida. The food and atmosphere are absolutely wonderful. Home made and delicious dishes....Can't wait to go back!!! Grazie mille, Denise and Rosario.
We happened upon Scolapasta by chance. Oh my, so glad we did! The food was amazing and the service was top notch! They started us off with bread, an eggplant dip and roasted garlic olive oil. All I can say is, oh my gosh! We shared the heirloom tomato salad and gnocchi. Both were fabulous!
This is legitimately one of the best restaurants I've ever been too. The staff is amazing, the food is perfection and we go multiple times when we visit Fort Lauderdale! It is one thousand percent worth going to!!!!! Victor is the best!!!!!

On 33rd street Ft. Lauderdale best cup of cappuccino I have ever had...next time I will update on the food. Followup on review, waiter Adrian very humble, pleasant and recommended the best appetizer ever, salmon starter. Omg it was divine. My favorite place on 33rd still. Third time I do not eat pizza but I ate a slice last night. Lord, was this pizza authentic the crust was crispy and airy. Crostata wow! Then I had these vegetarian meatballs and met the owner Denise. Authentic wonderful person. She cooks generational from her families kitchen in Italy. I always feel like I am at home when I eat here. They make it a beautiful family experience. You all amazing and your food is incredible till next time. If you want fast food which is never real Italian food go elsewhere, it takes time to prepare great food like this. People who have passion for what they do. Real chefs. 10 out of 5! Thanks you all.

Just Had Dinner at Scolapasta Bistro and It Was Beautiful!
If youâre looking for a great Italian dining experience, look no further than Scolapasta Bistro. Located downtown fort Laurdale this Italian eatery is sure to provide a memorable dining experience.
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Scolapasta Bistro, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were immediately struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with dim lighting and comfortable seating. We opted to sit outside, which was perfect for enjoying the warm night.
The food at Scolapasta Bistro was delicious. We started off with a delicious antipasto platter, which was filled with a variety of delicious Italian meats and cheeses. The only issue we had was that the pasta was a bit overcooked.
The service at Scolapasta Bistro was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure to check on us throughout our meal. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to answer any questions we had.
Great neighborhood restaurant if youâre in the area. The pasta is fresh, the food is flavorful, and the service is great.
This place was great. The pasta is made in-house, and they have high quality oil even for dipping your bread. We got the Chicken Marsala, which had a perfect marsala wine sauce that wasn't creamy. The rigatoni that came along with it was El dente and great as well. We also got a penne vodka, which was good as well I just prefer it lighter on the cream. Lastly, we did escarole and beans for a side that was seasoned perfect. I'd definitely go back and will be for sure.
Such a lovely atmosphere, upbeat service and amazing food! Funky music selection that actually works well with the ambiance ( you have to go to know). We had the lamb chop appetizer that was set off with a pistachio mint honey sauce. Entree was a generous portion of chicken Milanese served with pasta shells, Italian sausage and broccoli rabe. Dessert was a delicious pistachio ricotta cheesecake. Perfect spot for a date night or if you want to chill with a nice bottle of wine. Will definitely be back!
This was my first time at Scolapasta but certainly not my last. After several recommendations from friends, I assembled a group of friends to give it a try â and a wonderful Italian treasure it was. Upon entering the place, you face the bar; the friendly bartender welcomes you by assuring you that someone will come by shortly. Our Server Adrian (not âYo Adrianâ) presented the menus, took our drinks order, came back with drinks, and began to verbally enumerate a long bunch of item specials that were not on the menu⊠he highly emphasized that all pastas are homemade in the house, and all veggies are fresh (not canned or frozen). And he remarkably explained how each of those dishes were prepared. The food was exceptional, portions were ample generous, and expect to spend about $30-35/person not including drinks, tax, and gratuity.
This is easily one of our favorite places in Ft Lauderdale. We have been here many times, bringing family and friends who always love it. The first time I was here, I ordered the homemade shells. While waiting for my meal, I was fascinated to see someone making pasta by hand. After getting my food, which was phenomenal, she stopped at the table to ask how it was. I told her it was amazing and she said that she had just made it as I was watching. Couldnât be more fresh and delicious. Every time we go, they remember us and treat us so well.
The food was delicious. Be sure to request Adrian for your server. His knowledge of the menu were stellar. All the staff was very attentive, my water was never empty. Everything was delicious! Iâll be back next time I visit Fort Launderdale.
Absolutely perfect. We arrived at our reservation time and were immediately sat. Meatball trio, veal parmigiana, and spinach lasagna over pink sauce were all delicious and we would enjoy them again. Pistachio cheesecake was a delicious closing. Service was excellent. Metered parking right outside but the closest spots were full, however it was a Saturday night.
So this is a bit of a tricky review. The operations are odd. A lot of informal rules. The hostess was pretty much the business prevention department and not helpful. No we're full or no you need to wait 20 minutes, both would have been acceptable, but asking for a name but not writing it on the wait list wasn't a warm and fuzzy. The waitstaff takes the entire order at once not in stages (drinks, apps, main, dessert) which is odd but honestly totally fine. Our waiter was overworked but was actually great. The food was exceptional. Dessert was ok, good wine list. So if you're patient and can be persistent you'll really enjoy yourself. Don't let the small speed bumps stop you from going it's totally worth it..
Excellent food! Excellent service! Excellent Ambiance! Menu is seasonal to particularly high standards set by the chef. Definitely fine dining at not so expensive prices for the quality and decadent flavors presented. The desserts are spectacular, a worthy end to an outstanding dining experience! Head over for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.
I discovered this wonderful, Italian restaurant & brought my Father. He is celebrating his 95th birthday tomorrow! We had an amazing dinner. They brought him a special, cannoli dessert with a candle & sang happy birthday to him. It was a special evening. Really kind people & they make the pasta in-house! Support small, local business!! You will have a fantastic experience!
I came here while visiting Fort Lauderdale for a couple of days. Reviews were great.
The service was amazing. The complimentary bread was fantastic. I got the branzino and gnocchis with pesto. The branzino was spectacular. The pasta was not that great. I grew up eating homemade pasta so Iâm a bit picky.
The server brought gnocchi with tomato sauce But I had ordered gnocchi with pesto sauce. When I mentioned the mistake he was nice enough to keep the gnocchi with tomato sauce and bring another portion of gnocchi with pesto sauce. In my opinion the experience deserved a 4.5 stars but I go with 5
stars because of the friendly service.
We wanted pasta but could not resist the specials. So we will be back. She had the duck breast, which was perfectly cooked and I had the Ginger Salmon.. Each were about 28 dollars and a bit under normal pricing.
Fantastic food.. We recommend the cavatelli bolognese, prosciutto pizza, lasagna, banana bread dessert and the peanut butter cannolo. The service was w slow, but you canât blame the restaurant. Staff shortages are everywhere.
Just wanted to thank the owner and the chef and the staff at this amazing restaurant! We are visiting Fort Lauderdale and had to go to this restaurant twice food was so amazing! The chef made me a personal dinner with the octopus which was cooked perfect. We may fly from Las Vegas back to Fort Lauderdale just to eat here. The knowledge of the staff and the inviting feeling that the owner and everyone gave us was great! Thank you again we will see you.
