The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing.Β A huge Caribbean community in the shadow of a Winn Dixie Plaza. As Florida's Caribbean population has grown tenfold in the last 30 years, newcomers from Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, the Dominican Republic, and beyond have put down roots hereβand opened restaurants by the dozen in the strip malls that line up almost all Fort Lauderdale's main streets.
This casual, mostly takeout spot is popular for those craving a Haitian national dish: fried pork (Griot), long grain brown rice mixed with pinto beans, with a side of fried plantains. At lunch and dinner, the menu focuses more on your tastebuds. The evolution of this place have evolved from a whole in the wall to a five star restaurant. The combo plate with curry goat and tender, stewed oxtails, served over rice with a rich oxtail gravy. βOxtail is the most savory of the savory dishes. My meal of choice is the chicken in sauce, brown rice with pinto beans topped with stewed peppers and onions. This restaurant is owned and operated by a Haitian husband and wife that are chefs with many years of service under their belts. The duo serves masterpieces with every meal's. Both are comedic and passionate about the community. The foods are tasty and the authentic ingredients are to die for.
Lately I've been looking for a restaurant that has the best Haitian food good customer service and honestly. I think I found a one hear me out. This restaurant has amazing customer service not only that the food gets pretty and under 35 minutes. It's newly fresh to the market every food gets made everyday. There is no food kept overnight light. You cannot extra more. I love the way that my plate came out. I mean look at the pictures.
I have been going here for about 2 years now and Chef Emile is the absolute best π π π!!!!! I mean the level of consistency π with every dish that comes out of this restaurant is A++++
My favorite is their delicious spin on Brown Stew chicken π. Each and every freaking morsel of food that you bite into is beyond flavorful and well seasoned.

Iβve eaten brown stew chicken at several different Caribbean restaurants and this place has the most flavorful dish out of all of them. Definitely recommend them!
Pierre Emil catered our wedding and since then he's been a family friend. We're always taken cared of each time we dine in. His food is amazing!! And the prices are reasonable. Please check them out for wedding, or takeout. You won't regret it!!

I came in because my boyfriend rather watch football than go out to dinner for his birthday π. Any way.....I end up ordering the ox tails and rice with red beans and the jerk chicken and black mushroom rice. We enjoyed the food so much. It was so much flavor, I can't even describe it. The oxtails was falling off the bone and the jerk chicken was just the right spice. Overall the foo was fantastic and I will definitely e coming back. It was nice meeting you and your wife.
This place has amazing food. I have been going here for 7 years. They are very clean. They has the best Caribbean food. Every time I go I am very satisfied with my meals.
I took my families from out of town to Caribbean delight chef Emile did not disappoint. Venite was simply fabulous hostess. We had an awesome time there. We had the fish "amazing" sure to satisfy any big eater. Tassot dinde that was my personal favorite . Two people had the tassot kabrit which was delicious. The jerk chicken was amazing! I highly recommend that you check them out! Great food even better people!
I work in the plaza , it took me a while to give them a chance. When I tell I was surprisingly amazed of how good the food is and it's always to same taste nothing changes and if it does change it's for the better, I tried the oxtail cause i was tired of eating griot and fried Turkey , I had to go back and kiss the chef for doind an amazing job and kets not forget the service. They are amazing all around.
The food is amazing and Chef Emile with his mom are just super when it comes to food in general. If you looking for a food you can indulge yourself then this is it. I don't care what international dish you are craving go see chef Emile. He was one of the best chef at Coconut Creek Casino for over 10 years.
I hired Carribbean delight at the last minute for my wedding because of the caterer I was originally hired was presenting some problems. Caribbean Delight not only stepped in and took a last minute catering order, they provided stellar service and my wedding guest had good things to say about the quality of food the ate. I would definitely recommend them again.
