If you are like me and can look past the cheap earrings being sold at the register, boxes hazardly stacked by the bathroom, clutter located on display counters and patch jobs throughout the restaurant then this is an eatery that has obviously survived the test of time for a reason. The service is friendly and prompt. The fries tasted fresh and the French toast was delicious. The chicken tenders were pretty good which we ordered to enjoy with their belgium waffles. This local gem was worth the stop
Surprisingly tasty and really prompt service. Visited here today and had a very good experience. We ordered poached eggs with lox and the scrambled eggs with lox. Both were delicious. Also had the chai tea latte and hot chocolate, also yum. The potatoes had a really good slightly smoky flavor that gave them this really great little something extra. Everything was great. Would definitely come back again.
Love this place. Food is great and fresh. Type of Cafe you want to spend time with close ones. Has character and makes most from scratch. Friendly too.
I absolutely enjoyed this place. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food came out well seasoned a and promptly. It has a NY vibe but with NJ prices. Would definitely recommend going during brunch time.
Great food and excellent service. The owner and waiter(his wife?) have always treated me with courtesy and kindness. You can tell they are good, hardworking people. To those who have mentioned the long serving times, there is only one waiter from what I can tell, and she is doing the best she can. Although, this should definitely be taken into consideration when dining in during busy times. Smoothies are delicious and I haven’t tried all of the food from their extensive menu, but the food items I’ve tried(usually breakfast food, penne vodka, and shashuka) have been delicious.
Good place for breakfast or brunch. The portions could be a little bigger for the price. Had to wait for a while to get our food. Smoothie was great!
Wide variety of dishes in a small cozy place. Jesse is very nice and we also especially love their iced tea!
