Review Grannies Diner - Fort Lupton

Great experience with a true family-run establishment! Good food and plenty of it! I had the chef salad, and my co-diners had the breakfast skillet topped with tasty green chili! Cute little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but they close early, so get there in the morning to sample their delicious take on Colorado fare!

The food has a good flavor. The service is outstanding! However the portion sizes, at the current prices are leaving a big question in my mind. If you are going to charge almost 12 dollars for a breakfast burrito that had better be the biggest and best tasting breakfast burrito on earth. The portion sizes were average in comparison to other restaurants but their prices appear to be significantly higher than other places.

The scrambled eggs were rubbery, dark brown, and overcooked. The “hash browns”( which were really cut up and warmed up old baked potatoes) were not well-cooked and had absolutely no seasoning on them. The only thing palatable on my plate was the toast, and THAT even had a burnt part on it! Will never return!

We love coming in with our two kids, always super friendly and fast delicious food. Such a home cooked meal it seems to us and we love supporting local businesses ❤️

Loved this place. A bit different than I'm use to. Granny's Diner is a place where you seat yourself, grab your own menu. It has a very homey sense to it, which I absolutely loved. The food was amazing as well, though the reuben sandwich meat was a bit tough, it was still good. Will definitely return here in the future.

Unfortunately the good food and customer service both died with the original owners. The people that run it now are nice but not very attentive to the customer. The food is not very good. Maybe they were just having a bad day. I wish them all the luck but would suggest a new cook and better customer service.

I needed a place to do some work from "home" while I wait on my Chevy to get serviced at the nearby shop. Grannies came highly recommended by the shop and they were right. My omelet was perfect, the pancake was superb, and fruit was fresh and savory. This is a terrific little spot for a delightful breakfast experience in Lupton!
