Just a great spot for lunch or dinner. Have been going there for years. Great view, service and food. Up top for happy hour and music !!!
The view awesome, the pizza excellent and the waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The whole experience was topped off by the live music and the very entertaining musician. Will return.

Loved this place. Hubby loved the clam chowder, I loved the coconut shrimp. The house salad was outstanding. Service excellent. Thank you for supporting the Symphonic Chorale of southwest Florida. Definitely, a keeper. Will bring family and friends here.
Who would have thought there was anything good about the bridge leading into Ft. Myers, well I finally found it, this place sits right underneath it and the food is amazing! Service is exceptional, I just walked right up and grabbed a seat at the bar and the rest was spot on! Matt at the Bar was all over it, great guy �
We were there just for drinks but stayed because the music was so good, Mary was sin ging, excellent.

Beautiful views, great service, crab cakes and onion rings were delicious. It's fast becoming my go to place for lunch on the weekend.
Amanda the Bartender was so nice. The food was excellent . The view is amazing. We will be back and will be bringing friends.
Beautiful spot for a good meal. Love being on the water- the ambiance and live music was great. Gorgeous views. Food was good. The fish dishes stuffed with various seafood was an ice option. Nice selection of appetizers, although small portions for the price. Dinner entrees were better portioned. Service was good. Some dishes could have used more seasoning, but otherwise it was a great meal.

This review is being written in June 2023. Hurricane Ian struck our area late September 2022 has changed the landscape. Fort Myers was particularly hard beach is now, finally, coming back. This restaurant has a limited menu. We ordered their large Margarita pizza and a small mushroom in sausage, Docksider, pizza 🍕. The large pizza, about 14 inch and a small, about a 6 inch pizza came out piping hot, crispy, with the most delicious crust. The large pizza fed 3 people and was absolutely delicious. my husband has a small dark side of pizza and he said his also for some of the best because he’s had. Then for drinks we ordered Coke and ice tea. They brought liters to keep on the table of the coke & ice tea. Nice touch. we came by boat. They have dockage here which is so great if you’re a boater. on our way here on the waterfront, we saw Snug Harbor is open and they also offer vote dockage. So you can come to Snug Harbor by boat. We also got gas at
Moss Marina. so obviously Moss Marina is open for gas but the pump station is not working. Come to Fort Myers beach and support local economy. These people have been through hell after hurricane Ian. As I’m writing this review a beautiful, big manatee came by it’s so much fun to see these magnificent animals. The upper deck of the restaurant is open and so you can look down into the water. Really a nice view
Ordered a couple of beers....nice and cold! Got chips with homemade Pico and some guacamole, hubby got the chicken Cesar wrap, both were delicious and very fresh! Great place for a drink or something to eat. Only the upper deck was open, probably still recovering from Ian and Idealia

One of the best restaurants in town. The quinoa salad is the best salad I’ve had at a restaurant. It’s very filling and comes with lots of shrimp. The PBJ for kids is so delicious even for adults. And the magi magi was amazing. Jodi the waiter was super nice.
Never been here before but we loved it! We celebrated my mother in laws birthday here today and had a fantastic dinner. I had the broiled platter and my wife had the lobster.

Location was gorgeous! Food was unbelievably delicious! Server was awesome! We sat outside under heaters and the water view was spectacular. We will be back again. Staff was super friendly and outgoing!!!!
Very nice ambience on the lower deck formal dinner feel on upper deck bar crowd feel with live music which can be heard downstairs makes a nice touch for the dinner on the water. Pleasant staff, prompt, clean and nice quality food. I would recommend.

Great restaurant, we loved everything! Please always pick the stuffed options for few more dollars and more flavor. All of the adults had fun drawing on the paper more than the kids. Great location and view
Good food! Only wish server would have come back around and refilled water after we paid and tipped very nicely! We were in town visiting with old friends from Indy and sat awhile but he was well compensated. Got his money and disappeared...
Beautiful restaurant on the bay - what a view! We stopped for lunch, the food was very fresh and very nice. We sat outside (it was very hot but worth it), some may prefer to sit in the air con, but we did have a large umbrella for shade. We were lucky enough to ‘meet’ Petey, the local crane and watch him very successfully catch fish from the back of the boat.
Amazing as always!! We ordered and stayed for lunch and also bought several frozen take & re-bake pizzas to go. I've never had a bad meal here (or with their to-go pizzas, so delish!!). The staff is super attentive and professional. Chef Dave and the Manager, Tony are the absolute best!

Amazing! The grouper and the coconut shrimp were to die for. The red chili pepper cherry dipping will change your prospective on life. Looking forward to coming back! Service was excellent as well with great views of the marina.
The shrimp salad was so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend that dish. I'd go back just for that. The sweet tea was the real southern treat too. We sat by the water and although it was really windy, it was so nice.
Wonderful place for a nice and pleasant dinner. We chose the restaurant for a family dinner. And despite the rainy weather we had a beautiful evening. Sitting on the window with a wonderful view of the bay and enjoying great food. We had the Chimichanga and the Coconut Shrimp and the kids had fish fingers and were totally happy.
Beyond the food the place is really great and we had a very good service. The only difficult thing was the parking around. But this cannot change the great experience we had at the Matanzas.
Great food, friendly staff, delicious cocktails and a gorgeous view. We will definitely be going back. Watched the storm roll in while we were eating
