If visiting during weekend make a reservation unless you are okay with a high top or seating outside. We visited on a Friday at 5pm and even though the place was empty and plenty of tables inside they still only had table tops and outdoor as they said everything else was reserved. Outdoor it was. We were seating for at least 10 minutes before a server came to greet us and we had to speak with the hostess to let them know no one had came to our table yet. Here’s what we had: To drink we had a skinny margarita. So good! Then, to start things, we ordered The blacked grouper bite, which are a bit on the spicy side ( Way too much pepper, I couldn’t even taste the fish, IMHO) so be aware but if spicy is your thing, you’ll be happy to know that it accompanies an avocado crema sauce - so good! For entree : The Parmesan crusted North Atlantic flounder with asparagus and mashed potatoes that was absolutely delicious ! And lastly, the Twin lobster tails and French fries that was to die for. So overall, it was a good experience and we are willing to visit it again, this time with a reservation so we can, hopefully, change our perspective about the service.

Stopped by for lunch before our flight and they had no problem accommodating our luggage. The food was decent for the price and well proportioned, especially the fish tacos. Lobster bisque was a bit salty. Service was great.

I literally have been searching for a place to prepare proper northern #newengland style seafood and they DID NOT disappoint hardest part was not being able to try it all!!!! The crab stuffed avocado was literally stuffed with the most flavorful generous amount of crab! The Oyster choices were very meaty, clean and overall the best I've had locally and that speaks volumes..they shuck in a station located right in the dining area!!! Tall about fresh SHUCK TO ORDER! As it should be..lol the Lobster Roll was an absolute properly made LOBSTAH ROLL!!! Took this New Englad girl home.. perfectly not over toasted brioche roll.. very generous portions of lobster...you get 2 full rolls in the order!! Hands down fantastic!! The flounder....i mean just look at the picture.....beautifully light and golden crispy crusted.. melted in your mouth... Our server....unfortunately we cannot remember his name but he was kind, patient, attentive and by far a big part of our anticipation to return again with friends!!! P.s. try the french toast bread pudding not pictured because it was devoured 🤣🤣🤣 talk about a hidden gem!!🤌🤌 cannot wait to return! #swfleats #swflfoodies

Decent selection of seafood at a fair price. Was crowded on a Friday night but we had reservations and were seated on time. The booth was a teeny bit tight but otherwise comfortable. We had lobster rolls - delicious and there were 2 decently filled rolls not just one; a grouper sandwich also delicious but smaller than the photo (the sandwiches came with fries and slaw) and a salad topped with grouper. Additionally, we ordered New England clam chowder (that was very thin not like a chowder at all). Overall, the meal was great, the atmosphere was fun and we all enjoyed ourselves. Our server was slow and at times absent. He seldom checked to see what we needed and never brought out our bread. He seemed surprised that we had our food, fortunately someone else served it or we would have been waiting and this review would be different. I do recommend Blue Pointe. It seems to be a popular seafood restaurant and we will go back.

Great dining experience. Our server, Tiffany, was absolutely amazing. The bartenders were excellent. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and experience a staff that is this professional. Thanks for a truly memorable dining experience.

Formidable selection of oysters and seafood in general, located in a high-target area with lots of wealthy old people. Their sea-bass and flounder are great, so is the bread, their Brussels sprouts, and their blue cheese slaw. Lobsters with surf and turf are good, but quite small for the hefty price. Paella looks awesome but I haven’t had an opportunity to try it yet. Expect about $80 - $100 a plate with appetizers and drinks.

The food was fantastic! From beginning to end.my son is a chef and I had to send pics on everything we ate. The waitress was wonderful, very Imformative and pointed out any special items on the menu. No rush atmosphere. We went for dinner at 4pm. And made a reservation for the outside patio. It was perfect.

This evening we had Zach as our waiter. My wife and I come here quite often and service is never a disappointment, HOWEVER, Zach is an absolute pleasure! Going above and beyond all expectations is an understatement. Of course we will be coming back, BUT, from now on if we see Zach is working, we will be requesting him. I suggest everyone to do the same!

Cannot say enough good things. Came in for Happy Hour. Oyster, Crab, Scallops later and i am happy, everything is so fresh and well prepared. Service and Bar are spot on. Some people will feel things are pricey, but fresh does cost more and here it was worth it

The food and staff at Blue Pointe are consistently good. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Myers and always look forward to going back. If you go, treat yourself to the Miso Glazed Sea Bass…what a great dish!

I preface this review by saying I majored in Foodservice Admin and worked in the restaurant industry for years, so it takes a a swaying experience for me to leave a review one way or the other and clearly this is glowing ha. The experience started with a phone call with the hostess (Angela or Angie, I apologize I’m not sure which) who was incredibly kind and helpful when making a same day reservation. The hostess when we arrived was also very welcoming and friendly despite being clearly quite busy, she rocked it (evening of 12/29/22, you’re a rockstar). Then our server Zach was of same caliber, expertise knowledge of menu and offerings, personable and warm without being overbearing or pushy… and I have yet to talk about the food which was top notch and delicious across everything we ordered, drinks included. We were thrilled to learn they are a **scratch kitchen** also!! This is definitely our new favorite place and we can’t wait to come back!!

The food was amazing, our waiter was amazing as well as the service. We wanted to sit outside, there were numerous tables empty but for some reason the lady seating us wouldn't let us sit outside. My Filet was cooked just as I ordered and the lobster was great. In house bread is very good. Ready to go back

The service here is great! Had twin lobster tails, and my beau had the filet. Both great options. We also shared a dozen oysters and jumbo shrimp cocktail.
